Yay GF fries (and buns)! Their current management process is having a dedicated gf fryer - just ask to be sure since management can change. This is my daughter’s favorite place!

At this SmashBurger in Sugar Land, they are very helpful with my gluten allergy / Celiac. The cashiers and managers are helpful, because they talk with the kitchen employees, when I place my order. There are gluten-free hamburger buns at SmashBurger. I am able to eat the French fries, also.

The burgers are good and they have Udi’s buns but while they *used* to have a dedicated fryer for the french fries, they no longer do so the fries are definitely not Celiac-safe.

Gluten free buns, be sure to ask for them not to be toasted. Fries are made in a shared fryer.

Beware they toast the GF bun and not ask. Went through the toaster with gluten buns.

Staff very knowledgeable front staff went to back to help make order to make sure it was done right. Dedicated gf fryer. And a spot on the grill to toast gf buns where no regular buns go.

Some of the staff members didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu, I was able to get a gf bun and the fries had a dedicated fryer. All in all it’s ok in a pinch but there is better in the area

Very tasty burgers with gluten free buns - as noted, it is a $2 up charge which I don’t love, but grateful to have a gf option. The fries and smash tots with rosemary and garlic are also gf and delish! They were very helpful with our order.

Good burger and safe fries. I think a $2 upcharge for the gf bun is absurd but what can you do? They also have dairy-free shakes that are very good although a little unusual.
