It has clear GF marks in the menu and easy to distinguish. The brisket is juicy and delicious. Love it.

Had an AWESOME experience here! The restaurant shares a space with a meadery and a cider company and everything we had was delicious. I had BBQ chicken wings and a cider that I clarified was GF and had no reaction. The BBQ wasn't Kansas City level, but for the west coast it was pretty awesome. I was super excited that their BBQ sauce was GF! The only glutenous thing on the menu was cornbread and it was just an optional side. Even got cajun fries because no gluten goes in their fryer!

This place was great for gluten free dining. I went with a friend who has a trained gluten free detection dog and all our food was approved by the dog as being gf! The corn bread, bun, and pie aren’t gluten free but they’re made in a different facility and brought in so there’s minimal cross contamination. The staff were knowledgeable and the owner is gluten free himself! It’s also connected to a Cidery and mead place so all gluten free.

Smokin J's has three locations, with each doing a little different thing. Their location in Miramar is completely gluten free (with the exception of an optional brioche bun instead of the gluten free bun). They have GF beer battered mushrooms where they use hops cider instead of beer, mac n cheese balls with GF pasta, and of course the same amazing bbq they have at their other locations. Thankful they made this location all GF!
