This place is not celiac friendly and I took a risk but 24 hours later, I am not sick! I may have some small amounts of inflammation that could hit later this week but this was not nightmare high ppm scenario. When I ordered gluten free, the guy at the counter asked if it’s an allergy and I said yes so he told me they would take extra care to keep it separate. The bread was amazing! So so good! It was extremely enjoyable to have a sandwich that actually felt like a sandwich again. 4 stars because it is a sandwich place and there’s no way to be 100% gluten free but 5 stars for taste and not getting sick!!

I’ve eaten here without getting sick based on prior reviews, but they cook all their bread in the same oven, which is not celiac safe. When I asked about precautions, they had no answer
No
Great gf subs, loved the bread
Yes
Excellent bread because it didn't crumble!!! Staff was mildly helpful about gluten free options when asked about a gluten free menu, stating " we only have gluten free bread." I did not get sick. I also had potato salad.
The subs were amazing. The gf bread was very good and light. It didn't crumble when you bite into it. The bread only comes in 7" but I took my leftovers home for lunch the next day. I was perfectly happy with doing that.
Gluten free OVEN TOASTED sub sandwiches!!! The bread is amazing and they toast the entire sub after building it to give your bread that extra crunch that we usually miss out on with GF bread. They do ask if you're ordering for dietary reasons or allergy and made sure to change their gloves (thank you for understanding!!). I had the Italian and it came with many toppings that I could add including hot peppers. The price of the sub is a bit daunting at $10 but I can only imagine it's because they get the bread from a speciality bakery since it's in a sub sandwich form and far from a hot dog bun you typically find! I also was only able to eat about half of my sandwich since the portion was huge and the bread was filling so next time I will be splitting it with a friend. While Thundercloud has some decent subs, I would say Snarf's is WAAYY better because the bread is toasted which really holds the sandwich together and gives it an overall delicious taste. Their meats are of higher quality as well and offer more free toppings. There is also a location over by UT but I feel very lucky this location is near by my neighborhood and will be back many times more!
If you tell them it’s a gluten allergy they will change gloves and toast sandwich on foil as it is a shared oven space. Sandwiches are also prepped on foil/ paper to avoid cross contamination. I felt safe but personally did not like the bread. It was way too chewy/ gummy for me.
*Castle Rock, CO location. I’m not sure if every location uses the same GF bread

Fantastic staff. I was there around noon while at a conference and while they use a shared toaster (I asked for a non-toasted sandwich) they told me they hadn’t done any prep yet in the back room, so they toasted my sandwich in an empty oven. Bread was fantastic too!

They have a gluten-free bread option! I asked them to use a new pair of gloves and cutting board. It was good, tasted like any other sandwich from a fast food sandwich shop. The bread didn’t fall apart!
