The manager told us that they have many fryers, and that they only use two for tater tots and fries, everything else like chicken is fried in different fryers. Asked a couple ways, they insist it’s a dedicated set of fryers. Maybe they do that for taste, and maybe that’s why the tater tots are terrific and have never had a problem with these or a plain hamburger sans bun, so that’s what we do. The portion of tots and the taste are a treat. Probably worth checking each visit cause seems too good to believe at a fast food place it’s that consistent but our experience has been consistently good. They didn’t seem to know much about gluten.
