One of my favorite spots in Alexandria. Gluten free crackers for charcuterie boards, a few great gf entree options and a delicious chocolate cake.

I saw several reviews on here, mostly positive, and thought I’d try it out with my sisters when we were in the area. As of writing this review in March 2024 there is NOT a gluten free menu and there are NO markings on the menu. I was little disappointed by this. I addressed my dietary needs with my server, who was understanding and pointed out menu items that were inherently gluten free (including flourless chocolate cake) but gave a big caveat that the kitchen is not gluten free and everything was subject to cross contamination. I ended up sharing a charcuterie board with my sister and having a glass of wine. We requested the bread on a separate dish, and they did offer gluten free crackers. They tasted like Schar brand table crackers. I am usually very sensitive and symptomatic to cross contamination. While not having a full reaction, I did have a bit of upset stomach later in the evening.

Everyone’s experience with Celiac and gluten sensitivity is unique. I would say proceed with caution at this establishment with your comfort level of potential cross contamination.

A new menu just came out the day I visited and now the GF offerings are not marked and there is no GF menu. The prices are much higher also. The waiter brought me the old menu so I could see what was/is GF. There are a few selections - tacos, salmon, and hanger steak. The carne asada tacos were tasty, but the portion was not very large.

Great experience! I got the Fugi Apple Chicken Salad- they had a pretty diverse menu, vibes were cute, and service was great. Food was delish- definitely nice to have a spot like this in Old Town!

The host is very rude. If you are wearing a face mask and/or ask questions about “gluten-free” items on the menu, he will claim he “cannot hear you.” Raising your voice won’t matter if you are wearing a mask and/or ask questions about “gluten-free” items on the menu.

The food was great. There were lots of options for me and they were able to tweak some items to make them GF for me. The server was very knowledgeable and cautious. The menu noted what was GF on it. I liked it a lot!

We were visiting Alexandria for the night and had dinner at Sonoma Cellar. We were able to sit outside and there was a good buzz about the area and restaurant. The menu had gluten free items listed clearly and the waiters were knowledgeable about dishes ingredients. The food quality was very good and tasted great! I had the baked salmon with mushroom risotto. I highly recommend. This place is perfect for wine tasting too!

Very good! I’ll be back! The menu was marked, and they helped to accommodate a meal for me. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Good service, gf menu is limited but what we could order was fantastic.

They have quite a few options and if you tell them your needs they will go out of their way to make you feel safe and ensure that there is no cross-contamination.

Also their wine is absolutely incredible, exciting, and nuanced.
