Doubt I’ll rush back
Waited about 30 minutes for a table at 6pm on Saturday. The table was very small for 2. Server seemed to understand celiac diet well and was very responsive and clear.
Deep fried mushroom starter was good but nothing special.
Mango salad was tasty and spicy. I liked it my dinner partner didn’t.
Mushroom side was a weird texture and seemed relatively undercooked.
Cauliflower main dish was like undercooked but burnt and relatively flavorless. Big sad on this dish.
Margarita was small and tasted like Cointreau even when stirred. Meh drank it.
Staff was friendly
Atmosphere was loud for me but I liked the wall mural

Interesting Cambodian restaurant. Great decor, wonderful staff. The spendy food was good. But not wonderful enough for me to return.

Amazing place with delicious, celiac safe food. Might be my favorite meal in Seattle! The staff go out of their way to make you feel safe and well taken care of, even on a busy night. The chef came out to talk to me directly and walked me through the menu (which is almost entirely GF!) and happily answered any questions I had. They were also very careful about cocktails and avoiding anything that could have cross contact. Majority of the kitchen is GF so cross contamination is naturally low. I felt very safe and felt great all week and I am very sensitive!

Just ate here this past week during their soft opening and had a wonderful experience! Our server asked right away if we had any dietary restrictions and was super helpful asking the kitchen. I felt nervous about one dish and they re-confirmed with me that it was safe to eat. Felt absolutely fine afterward AND the food was delicious. the fried chicken was beyond! loved the ambience as well — hoping they stick around!

Visited @SophonSeattle for their soft opening, and it's created quite a buzz in Seattle! @EaterSeattle called Sophon one of the most anticipated openings of 2024, and trust me, the hype is REAL. Named after the owner, Karuna Long’s mom, Sophon, the food pays homage to Khmer cuisine and Cambodia. From the decor to the drinks and food, everything was intentional. Menus were labeled and had lots of GF options. Our favorite was the Kroeung Chicken & Mushroom Khmeraage. We will be back soon if we can snag a table - reservations on @opentable ππ₯
