We did the Afternoon Tea at St. Ermin’s. Two gluten free travelers. The atmosphere is very nice, and it seemed that the crowd was less tourists and more natives. The service was excellent and friendly.
The tea was fabulous. The real show stopper was the GF scones. It was like sweet bread with raisins. They were TO DIE FOR. They are made warm and fresh for you midway through the tea. We were full and took them home. They were still delicious to eat the next day.
The GF sandwich bread was pretty good. The pastries were on the whole dry and didn’t have a great texture to them. We had plenty to eat but the cakes were on the disappointing side.

Came for the afternoon tea. I was impressed with the variety of desserts. The scones were amazing!

I didn’t find that there were many options for breakfast apart from gluten free toast. The buffet is 21 pounds per person and they couldn’t offer anything gluten free except for eggs. Potatoes and meats all had gluten. We ordered from the separate menu which offered only a few options of omelets and avocado toast. I would not recommend this place for any celiacs or any one that is very sensitive to gluten and is looking for more options. There just wasn’t a whole lot to choose from.

Beautiful hotel & service. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. They are easy to work with and have lots of GF options.
Went there for Afternoon Tea, they have a dedicated gluten free menu with as many options as the regular food menu for afternoon tea. Friendly knowledgeable staff, excellent sandwiches and gluten free dessert options
