Sushi & Sushi

I’ve had two experiences here where they gave me the gluten version of the roll I ordered (veggie). One was take out, the other was a bad server. I’ll probably keep coming here, but I eat with a lot more caution.

Had a great experience here. They had a lot of different options. Waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable. They had a separate gluten free menu you have to ask for.

There was a separate gluten free menu with a decent amount of options. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the dishes and what was actually gluten free. I was cautious about the salad and miso soup so I asked, and she gave me all of the ingredients assuring me that it was gluten free. My meal was very good and well made. They have gluten free soy sauce if you desire. Sadly there are no gluten free desserts but that didn’t change my views. I very much recommend this establishment. They have great service and food!

Our server was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Their complementary soup and salad were both gf. They have a separate gf menu with everything marked. They even made a separate ice cream dessert for me. I didn’t have a reaction after.

They have a separate menu that tells you exactly what is gluten free (quite a few options!), and carry gf soy sauce as well. Highly recommend

They have a nice separate gluten free menu with a good selection of sushi rolls, as well as gluten free soy sauce they bring out for you.

Staff is knowledgeable about creating rolls that are GF, they also have GF soy sauce if you ask.

The outside of the restaurant is deceiving. We picked the spot off this website and were a little sketchy when we pulled up. However, once inside it is very clean, modern and upscale looking. There is not a gluten free menu, the menu states "gluten free- ask your server." This was really annoying because our server (who I am pretty sure was the owner) couldn't make any suggestions. Instead she wanted us to point to options and then would tell us "yes," "no" or "maybe." After choosing four rolls she said were safe with some alterations, I was a little skeptical. When they came one did not have the real crab we paid extra for, and another had the sauce they were supposed to leave off. After all was said and done we both ended up glutened. We won't be returning.

I'm not a celiac but was with one for a number of years. Sushi should be pretty easy to make GF, so I was happy when they brought me the GF soy sauce clearly labeled and ready to go. With that said, the fish was so good. Very fresh and so tasty. Some of the better sushi I've had!

Best selection gluten free sushi!!

Waiter was very knowledgable & guided us to excellent choices. Will be back every trip to Anchorage!
