They have an extensive gluten free menu. We asked about the shrimp app and our server told us the bread was prepared on a separate grill before I even asked. She was very knowledgeable about Celiac. She even pointed out that the French fry tonges might be used on battered onion rings. I did upgrade to the gluten free bun…super dry as usual (not a Ted’s thing). I did grilled chicken rather than a yummy burger but it was still great.

We’ve eaten here twice. Gf bun is very good. Lots of sides and food is consistent. It’s def an easy choice and a chain so you can find them around the city. It’s just easy and we get fine after eating here. I will say some wait staff is better than others but the male manager at the Avalon location was very friendly and helpful and made up for the the waitstaff we happen to get the night we were there. The staff at peach tree location were super friendly!

This location is my go-to for a safe meal. The staff is very knowledgeable and takes precautions to ensure cross contamination does not occur. I’ve eaten here probably 200+ times and have not been sick once.
They put a little American flag on your burger to designate that it’s gluten free. I’m pretty sure it’s the safest spot in town besides cooking at home.

So we were very excited when we read the review and figured this would a fun and easy meal. They did have a specific gluten free menu and separate fryer for chips and fries. HOWEVER. The food was lacking in flavor, the bison burger had a weird after taste(we’ve had/made our own bison burgers before, this was like a wet dog taste), the chips and fries needed salt, the sweet tea was old tasting and the pickles they served tasted like salt water. The bison filet was good however. So I guess that’s something

Have eaten here several times with no issues. Salads with grilled chicken and burgers with GF bun have been delicious.

Ted’s is one of my safe restaurants. Although I skip sauces, they spread on gluten stuff and put the knife back in- a server told me that.
Love that they have gluten free bread! The service is GREAT and the food is Amazing👍🏻👍🏻
Dedicated fryer..melt-in-your-mouth chips! They have an extensive gluten free menu. Both times we visited wait staff was wonderful about our gf concerns. Was grateful that on one occasion she came back and mentioned that one item on our order may not be safe for a Celiac. Best of all their fries, burgers and sides are all delicious!

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here.
what a great place! wait staff very knowledgeable. dedicated fryer. Curtis was awesome, wanted to thank him for the best burger I've had in years and I actually got to order on FRIES! This place deserves much more than 5 stars!
They were aware of celiac. Our server knew what items were on the GF menu when we ordered. It was delicious!

They say you can bring in your own bun and they will make your bison burger on it.
They have a dedicated GF menu with many options and a GF fryer.
Great bison burger with GF bun and fries. They have GF menu. Did not have any symptoms after eating.

I never had any issues with the GF options giving me any reaction. Their bison burgers are always excellent, and the cucumbers are delicious.

Dang, did my research and I got burned.
Though I had expected it to be slow, this place was pretty busy at 1pm on a Friday from graduation parties, and short staffed b/c one server hadn’t come in.
They gave me a gluten free menu, which is normally a very good sign that a resultant cares. I ordered and was very clear that it was an allergy and not a preference.
I got the “Avalon” bison burger (dressed with various cheeses and onions fried in bacon grease) with gluten free bun and fries. I ate the fries first (they have a dedicated fryer) and felt okay, ate the burger and then got rather ill.
I suspect there was cross contamination with the bun, which was toasted. The server said they had a dedicated toaster, but I suspect that someone forgot to change gloves when collecting the buns or something happened with the onions.
I’m quite sensitive, steer clear of this place if you are too.

They were AMAZING! When we were seated we asked for a gf menu. Our waitress made it a point to ask if we were gf for health reasons or by choice. It was nice! Usually people assume it's by choice, but she made sure to make sure everything was separated out because of my celiac disease! They were even very attentive for being so busy! Definitely will be back!
