Worth the wait. We came on a Friday at 6 pm. It took over an hour to get a table. They take reservations so consider making one.
The food is incredible. I had hanger steak (carne asada) taco, tempura fried avocado taco, and Tijuana style shrimp taco. The tortillas are excellent. They don’t fall apart! Tijuana style is like a taco quesadilla. It’s folded over and fried closed. The light sauces were tangy.
My wife had a hanger steak plate. The kids had hanger steak tacos. They both wanted to have hanger steak every night.
We had the salsa trio with chips for a starter. The Macha with peanut was amazing. It had a hint of sweetness. The guacamole convinced me to put much more lime in my guacamole at home.
We had churros and chocolate pano cotta. I haven’t had a churro since I was a kid. Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, held together, how do they do that?
