Not necessarily Celiac friendly. Waitress knew how to advise confidently on the menu. But no gluten free menu, integrated nor separate. All fried foods use the same oil (not gluten free). Some of the stakes are cooked in sauce with soy sauce (not gluten free). I ordered a New York steak, salad without croutons, and a bake potato. All is well so far, no symptoms of contamination.

I always get steak, no butter brush no seasoning, dounble steamed vegetables with no butter or seasoning. Just add salt and pepper at the table. Sweet potatoes are also good but if you avoid dairy, I believe they do brush the outside of the potatoes prior to cooking.
They can't grill anything gluten free because of the grill shortening they use. Also, their steak seasoning somehow has gluten in it. I'm not paying $20 for an oven baked steak with just salt and pepper on it. Also, even after explaining that I have celiac and that my wife and I are gluten free they brought us bread, which makes us think they have zero knowledge of what gluten even is. We left as we didn't feel comfortable with the safety of the food.

Love coming here for a nice steak with a loaded baked potato. The waiter will send over manger to take order for someone with allergy. Cooked my steak in oven with salt and pepper very delicious.
I've eaten here twice. Both times, the manager makes me feel so uneasy with the whole "we can't guarantee" speech. However, my Celiac sister and two Celiac daughters love the steaks here. None of us got sick either time, even though the glasses were so dirty that I couldn't allow myself to take a chance by drinking the water. I had to go to my car for bottled water. My daughters drank the water with no problems. The steaks are terrific, and I love the baked sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar, and roasted marshmallows. We order the loaded baked potato AND the baked sweet potato, since the sweet potato is more like dessert! We've never gotten sick here, but sometimes they bring us steaks without even salt or pepper.
Had no issue ordering from the “gluten-friendly” menu. Our server and the manager both worked with us to answer any questions. My daughter had a sirloin and applesauce with no issues. They do not have any GF dressing except for oil and vinegar.

This was probably the best GF meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant! I asked for GF menu, our waitress had one with her. I ordered the Steak Kabob with no rice. Mashed potatoes with no gravy and a side salad with oil and vinegar no croutons. They brought out the salad with a small container of oil and another small container of red wine vinegar so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I really appreciate that! Then the Kabobs and mashed potatoes came out… absolutely fabulous! I was so shocked. Will be adding Texas Roadhouse to my favorites list ❤

Texas Roadhouse is usually a good chain for gluten free. This was not my vest experience with them. I ordered my food with allergy prep. When my steak come out, it had a stray piece of a not-gluten-free topping mixed in, which was highly concerning. They remade my steak and the manager brought it out. Granted, it was extremely busy and I was with a large party. In the end, I did not get sick. This is probably a decent stop for GF, especially considering there didn't seem to be much else in the area. This was an obligatory dinner stop on a road trip.

I ordered pick up from the gluten free menu. Steak, baked potato, and steamed broccoli. No extras since I was picking up and could add my own toppings at home. Everything was delicious and I did not have any reactions.
