Thai Rhapsody operates a delivery kitchen on DoorDash called “Gluten Free Thai House” with a menu composed of all the items they say can be made GF from their normal offering. With NIMA testing serving as the great equalizer of often lofty claims these days, we ordered with tempered expectations. All items we ordered failed. Thai Fried Rice w/ pork - gluten found. Pad See Ew w/ Beef - gluten found. Panang Curry w/ chicken - gluten found.

Even more disappointing than a restaurant not living up to its name was the sad gluten free chicken nugget dinner we had as our plan B. The happy news is that I didn’t get glutened. Another reminder that those with celiac should never place full trust in establishments without 100% dedicated gluten free facilities; even if Gluten Free is in their name.

We have had great experiences here. My daughter and husband both have celiac and we all have several other food intolerances. We have called ahead to ask questions and then also talked to our server when we get there. The food is great and we haven’t had any reactions after eating. Highly recommend!

After reading the reviews, I came here hoping that this would be a safe place to eat but I was met with confusion. The waiter didn’t know what Celiac was and was unaware if they could avoid cross contamination with gluten. I asked to speak to the chef but was told he didn’t speak English. I asked if there was anyone else there that could help determine if they could make a safe dish for me. A lady came over acting bothered. She didn’t say a word to greet me she just looked at me and raised her eye brow and waited for me to speak. It was so odd! When I asked her if they were able to avoid cross contamination she said they would use the same pan as they do with gluten. I asked if they could clean it, she said yes. It was obvious she wasn’t going to make me feel secure about this dining experience and I was so turned off by this point that I decided to leave. It’s just not worth it. If the restaurant employees cannot be friendly and reassuring, and I got glutened, I would have no one to blame but myself.

I have celiac and eat here often. Delicious food, and they can make almost everything GF unless it's something battered. My favorites are the Phad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Beef Salad, and the Panang Curry.

Not only do they have a GF soy sauce that they use, but they also do not charge extra to make any item gluten-free. I feel like we can eat here like a normal person and pay a "normal" person's price.

Almost everything on their menu can be made GF. This was my favorite thai restaurant before going GF and it made me so happy that I can still eat here.
