The Fox and Pheasant

The very first thing the server asked was " "Are there any food allergies we need to be aware of?" and said that even though they don't have a GF menu, they would be able to work with all of my dietary restrictions and would lmk if they couldn't. The service was fantastic and accommodating. The food was superb, they not only listened with total empathy and understanding but made other things in place of what I couldn't eat. I cannot have red grapes, green beans, or gluten and they made me a GF vegatable gravy (SO delish) in place of the red wine gravy my beef came with, subsituted kale for the green beans, made sure the salad dressing was red wine vinegar free, etc. They just treated me with total dignity and respect. I am not celiac, I am Hashimotos, so I cannot speak to celiac needs but for me, this meal was spectacular and exceeded my already high expectations. The atmosphere was wonderful, a glorious old pub setting and the service was stellar.
