Disappointed. I came here, by taxi, from my hotel because it was listed as having fish and chips. They do have fish and chips, but not gluten free fish and chips. They do have a few options and I’m getting the baked salmon.
They have the usual allergen listings that many Irish restaurants now have, which is helpful.
I’m assured that the chips are GF and fried separately from gluten. So in some way I’m getting fish and chips, but...
Server and chef both nice and knowledgeable.
My opinion is going up a bit.
(I started to give two stars. I’m still only giving 3 because they shouldn’t list fish and chips in their description on this app if it’s not gluten free fish and chips. Ireland has pretty many GF options, but it’s still hard to get classic Irish dishes GF, ie Irish stew, shepherd’s pie, fish and chips. Last night of trip, I was hoping I might find one of them.)
I have eaten here a good few times, food is excellent and chefs are extremely knowledgeable about coeliac disease and gluten intolerance. All sauces are GF and there is a separate fryer for GF fried food. Mostly anything you want on the menu can be made GF depending of how busy it is. You may be waiting a little long than normal but well worth it. If you are on a fad GF diet and don't not have coeliac disease or a gluten intolerance, be prepared for a big fat NO! that they will not accommodate you.. as the chefs went to great lengths to prepare me GF fish and chips. Highly rate this place!!10/10
