Very good food. Watch out for the rice and desserts. Chicken tamales are awesome.

The food is really good and the staff seem knowledgeable. The woman at the serving counter said the only things that are not gf are the rice, bread, and sweet corn tamale, so there are a lot of options to choose from.

We had lunch here today and everything we got was yummy. There was only one thing on the tamale menu that we couldn’t have, and the lady that helped us was quick to point it out when I told her we were GF. We had bean and cheese tamales, pork with green sauce tamales and nachos. If I lived closer, I’d eat there often.

The person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. She directed me to excellent choices and reminded me that my wife's order was not GF. Food was fantastic! Highly recommended.

They do not have tortillas, chips or rice (EVEN RICE) that are gluten free. You can have a tamale and only certain ones. All the reviews said I could eat more than that, but the staff told me it wasn’t gluten free. Also, night after and morning after I did not feel good at all.

Love this spot! Amazing tamales and other gf options. I do wish there were more seating but that is part of the charm, in a way.

I eat here at least twice a month I love this place so much. I have never had a reaction (I'm super sensitive and normally notice within 5 minutes). The tamales tacos and nachos are delicious. Definitely give it a try.

I have never eaten such delicious tamales!! I have been gluten and dairy free for 9 years now and felt perfectly safe eating here. I am very sensitive to cross contamination and had no issues. The portions were huge, the food was delicious and I didn't get sick - it was wonderful! My only complaint was that I live 5 hours away - if only we had a Tamale Place in Tennessee... On that note, be sure to read the story of how the restaurant came to be (on their website) - such an interesting story!

The food was absolutely amazing, but within an hour of finishing dinner I started to have a reaction. I only ordered food that was marked as GF but there was definitely some cross-contamination. Delicious but not worth the pain...

I have lived and traveled all over the country. I missed the tamale's I used to eat in California and went here not expecting much. Not only was I so pleasantly surprised, my 12 year old LOVED his meal. We tried the Chicken Tamale in Green Sauce, The pork tamale in green sauce, the one with chocolate and nuts, their homemade chips and their fish tacos. EVERYTHING was GREAT. We spent $32 for 3 of us and took home over half of our meal because the portions were generous and filling.

LOVE this place and will definitely return. We went to the one on the Southside of Indy. Wish there was one North or a bit closer to us, but we won't let that stop us from returning at some point.

Everything was home made and there was a lot of variety. Hard to know what to order because they had so many choices. After eating their tamales and fish taco's, it will be impossible for me to make taco's with all the hard and processed shells out there. Now I'm spoiled and want fresh!

Their salsa is excellent. I love HOT, and found that their hot salsa isn't just hot, but flavorful.

Happy. Happy. Great tamales. Went in at 2pm in off hour and the place was busy. I had a lot of questions so I wasn't quick to order. Ask for a menu as it denotes items with non gf flour. All tamales are gf.

Amazing food! The tamales are to die for and the tacos really hit the spot. I also suspect some gluten in the spices here, but otherwise delicious.

The food here was great! Very tasty and authentic. Only snag (and why i give four stars out if five) was my celiac girlfriend ordered a tortas. Yes, we know it's normally bread but they didn't have it marked on the menu as having wheat. She thought maybe they had a corn or some other type of bread. No, it's on a wheat breat. The girl who worked there looked at her like she was stupid. Of course it comes on bread. Yeah, but you don't have it marked corectly on your menu. BUT, the guy working there appologized and gave us another order of tamales! All and all, VERY good food.

Fabulous service and food! Menu items are clearly marked, and the staff understands allergies. Have eaten there over a dozen times and never had a reaction, with three gluten free people in the family!
