I asked for items that were gluten free. The cashier asked the supervisor who directed me to their website. I read on the website that the grilled chicken is gluten-free free but could be cross contaminated because of the way it’s prepared. I’m am okay with cross contamination. They also wiped down the grill and wore gloves to prepare my breakfast. What they did not realize is that the Maple chicken is breaded with wheat flour. I assumed it was grilled chicken with maple bacon. The maple bacon is GF. I realized the chicken was breaded after I took a bite, so I chose to scrape off the breading and eat anyway. The back of my throat feels a little irritated but otherwise I am fine.

I just found out the chilli is gluten and dairy free! So are the salads, as they are made fresh. The general manager was very knowledgeable and helpful here!

According to their website, Wendy’s offers bunless burgers and they claim their chili is gluten free as well as their fries & Frosty’s. I have eaten all of it with no issues.

Most options are not safe from cross contamination, but you can get the hamburgers without a bun and get lettuce instead. Fries are made in a shared fryer so they are not celiac friendly but are not made with any gluten containing ingredients. Decent option if you are not at risk with cross contamination, but options are quite limited.
