Great experience! They have a gluten free menu and my waiter was very knowledgeable. He even went to the back and grabbed my food from the cooks so there was no mixup or other risk for cross contamination. I ordered the pulled pork with original bbq sauce and strawberry poppyseed salad!

Excellent food for the whole family. They have a GF menu and my daughter who has celiac had no issues both times we ate there. Not the biggest selection for GF side dishes but everything is very tasty. Good service, quick turnaround on food and a good atmosphere.

Very impressed with the knowledge of our waitress, their GF menu (and specified substitutions), and care taken by the kitchen. Food was delicious, and I had no issues.

Mushroom fries does not have a separate fryer!!! Full on glutened after that.
Their shrimp cobb salad is awesome though. Never had a problem, I've probably had it upwards of a dozen times now.
Ordered chicken skewers— came out 1st time and had pieces of flat bread on the salad.
“Is that bread?!”
“Oh, uhh, yeah sorry I’ll have them make you a new salad”.
2 minutes later dish comes back, I pull the chicken off the skewer and notice there are bits of rice all over it. Rice is the normal side, but gluten instructions said “ask for no rice”
So basically they made the dish, realized it was supposed to be gluten free, so they pushed the rice off and put the alternative side on instead. But they missed the flatbread.... I’m assuming they just picked that off before bringing it back, too. After that I wasn’t comfortable trying anymore.
Obviously not everyone knows gluten free there and there are a lot that don’t care or don’t think it’s important.

A good BBQ place for gluten free. Our meal was going great until we ordered an extra side of cream corn after we ate everything else. The side of cream corn the waiter brought us had two noodles in it. The waiter said “oh of course you got the one where noodles fell in”. It kinda made us feel uneasy about the rest of the food and the safety of this place. We shall see if we have any reactions.
I have eaten there many times as well and never gotten sick and server very knowledgeable about Cross contamination

I've eaten here at least five times and never gotten sick! It's our favorite place in Fresno! Ask for a gluten free menu.
They do not have a dedicated fryer, and for some reason, a baked potato isn’t listed on their gluten free menu. But they understand CC and are wonderful! The BBQ meats are amazing, and the cedar plank salmon is my favorite.

Westwood BBQ has really stepped up their gluten free options. The food is delicious!! You have to try the Portabella Mushroom Fries!!!
