I went here for my first meal after being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2015. What a catastrophe. I ended up in tears because the waiter first told me that I couldn't eat anything and seemed very annoyed rather than empathetic. I was there with friends celebrating someone's birthday. The waiter made me feel very self conscious, but the other guests near me were trying to make me feel a bit better and also expressed that the waiter was not being very helpful. In the end the were able to serve me a fish dish which actually turned out to be quite good, although I was not able to have any sauce. But the natural flavor of the dish was decent. I have not been back since then as my experience there really put me off. Maybe it has gotten better over the last 3.5 years. Although all the other restaurants owned by Hakkasan have also not been great for me since then.
