My husband and I enjoy eating at Carrabba’s and have found it to be a safe place for me. I order steak (cooked on its own pan) with butter, salt and pepper, bowl of Mama Mandola’s Scilian Chicken Soup (no pasta) and their signature salad with no croutons, extra cheese and olives, yum! * It’s important to note: the pasta is added to the soup when they “plate” the dish and not cooked in the pot which makes it gluten free! * Additionally, I’m incredibly sensitive to cross contact so I always ask for my salad to be made with fresh ingredients not “on the line”. They have always been so great and supportive! *allergens: gluten, mushrooms, honey, coconut and all nuts.

Usually I have no problems here but my most recent trip was not good. My interaction with the waitstaff was not reassuring even though I made it clear I had celiac, needed gluten free, and it when all else failed (when I didn’t think she was really taking my seriously or knew what Celiac meant) I said I had a gluten allergy. I asked her to let the cooks and back of the house know. She said “Oh no problem, I will make note of it”
I was glutened and in pain on the way home and have been sick since.
Be cautious. Maybe speak to a manager or be more adamant than I was with the waitstaff.

Menu had multiple choices and everything was clearly marked on the menu. They fully accommodated the children's menu to substitute for gf pasta. My 6 yr old daughter loved it! I'm not celiac but I ordered off the gf menu so she could try more things. I had the gf minestrone which was delicious and the pork tenderloin which was also great. She especially loved the mashed potatoes! I would definitely recommend this place.

Went to Carrabba‘s for the first time and was happy to see they had a gluten-free menu. I ordered a gluten-free pasta and was so excited to try it, but what I got was different than what I ordered. I spoke to the waitress and ended up having to speak with the manager because nobody had any idea what gluten even was. They thought dairy was gluten. The manager apologized and said that they had had their training, but she didn’t remember anything about it. When I finally got what I had ordered and began enjoying the dish, I discovered a different kind of pasta, mixed in with mine. Since they only have one type of gluten-free pasta, it was obviously a regular pasta mixed in with mine. I will not be going back. If it would have been my niece, she would have been in the hospital with that type of negligent cross-contamination!

We go here almost weekly. They have really upped their game! Lots of gluten free options marked on the regular menu and they can sub gluten free pasta for most of the sauces. The chicken pollo rosa maria with mashed potatoes is my favorite! I tell the server I am Celiac and have gluten allergies and I have never gotten sick here. One word of caution is if you order a cappuccino, make sure you remind them no biscotti. Everything else was perfect every time! Go give it a try!
