Excellent food, fabulous cocktails, and a really nice setting for a special night out in Boston. Felt very safe too. Recommend the GF fried artichoke.

The waitress assured me that all GF items are prepared in a completely separate kitchen and their fryer, located in the main kitchen, only fries items that are GF. The mozzarella sticks were incredible but I got the GF cacio e Pepe and it was so extremely salty it was inedible. My husband got the bolognese and while it was also super salty it was fine enough to eat. Personally I think the food is overpriced for what it is and I wouldn’t eat here again but I did not get sick so a win is a win.

Pricey but delicious & unique items to order that are gluten free & marked on the menu. Fried artichoke, mozzarella sticks with caviar, grilled octopus, spaghetti lobster & other pastas were all delicious. They could also make pastas gf even if they weren't marked by subbing some ingredients & the gf pasta.

This is a great place if you have celiac. They completely get it regarding cross-contamination, etc. It’s a little pricey, but I’m willing to pay for a place that’s safe and has high-quality food. Can’t recommend enough!

The service was incredible and so was the food! Our server made me feel extremely comfortable about eating there as they have an entirely separate GF kitchen with its own fryer. The mozzarella sticks were the best I’ve ever had. I also got the risotto di funghi which was so flavorful! I will absolutely be returning here. Felt so safe eating here and didn’t get sick!

Best meal I had all year!! I came here for my birthday and had incredible mozzarella sticks w/ caviar, burrata, and cacio e Pepe. HOMEMADE gluten free pasta that is to die for. They were very knowledgeable about celiac and there are tons of options! My non-GF partner loved everything just as much as I did. Incredible!!! (+ good cocktails, too)

The waiter told me I’m in heaven when I told him I have celiac, and this was proven to be true 🥲 most of the menu is marked celiac safe or can be made celiac safe. There is even a separate kitchen (with a separate fryer) for gluten free food! This was such an incredible experience and the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going back for every special occasion :)

Incredible gluten free Italian dinner. The entire menu is labeled with gf options. Our server asked about cross contamination and if I had celiac. We had gf mozzarella sticks, 2 different kinds of house made (celiac safe) pastas with cacio e Pepe and homemade bolognese sauce. We also enjoyed one of the many gf desserts! We will be coming here every time we visit Boston!

We traveled to Boston because there aren’t many celiac friendly restaurants where we live and we did research on Faccia a Faccia. When we arrived we thanked them for having GF options and they assured us that there is a gluten free kitchen where they cook separately for people with celiac disease. They asked us about other allergies which include nuts as well and when we we’re served, the runners named that each item was safe for celiac and nut allergies! Wonderful service and I can’t wait to return.

Great service and menu options. All of the staff were very knowledgeable about GF and always said “safe for celiac” everything they delivered did to our table. Makes sense, Celiac Disease was first diagnosed in Italy during the 1970’s. We would definitely return. Only negative is the music, which is aimed at the 30-something young professional crowd, but a couple notches more ambient would be great for a higher end quality of atmosphere.

I have celiac and ate there this summer. While the food was delicious and the restaurant purports to be super celiac safe, I got glutened here—badly. Worse than I have been in a very long time. I had two kinds of “celiac safe” pasta with the mortadella and split it all with my husband, so I have no idea what it was. All I know is, at least for me, it was not celiac safe!

UPDATE: I have been here four times since the restaurant opened. I have never gotten sick after, so that’s always a win. But I have repeatedly found myself disappointed with the price point and the hit-or-miss quality of some of the dishes. The fried artichokes are always outstanding, but the pasta has been (at times) almost inedibly salty, and the drinks are mediocre. For the price point (which should read $$$$ in FMGF), I’m not sure I think it’s worth it.
I ordered the shrimp and crab pasta and it was incredible. A fun, GF pasta shape and amazing taste and texture. The server ensured me that the pasta was made in house and in a separate kitchen. They verbally indicated what dishes were GF and not when brought to our table. I am not sick several hours later, and so excited to go back. My only complaint is that it’s expensive, but I knew that going in.

This place deserves infinite stars!! Their menu specifically notes that the gluten free items are celiac safe (literally they have a separate kitchen). The chef’s daughter is celiac so I felt fully understood! Also everything was amazing. The gf pasta in particular was the best I’ve had in my life.

Absolutely incredible food (for myself and also as reported by non-GF friends). So many options and elevated dishes. Server was knowledgeable, able to answer questions, and able to explain what could or could not be made GF (vast majority could be GF)! Each time a dish came to the table, it was announced that it was celiac safe or not. We shared several smaller plates -- hamachi crudo, special app with crab-stuffed fried squash flowers, whipped ricotta (Bread on side and brought out a GF cracker substitute for me) -- and I had the GF squid ink trottole pasta...and bought the fresh pasta to take home! When will I find GF squid ink pasta again?? All dessert options were GF or could be modified (removing bread from the cheese plate). My group shared a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich (so good) and a meringue dish. All agreed, one of the best meals we ever had. And to be so inclusive to accommodate celiac was just incredible.

Another completely safe and tasty meal. The homemade gluten free pasta is amazing. Gluten free food is prepared in a separate area. Excellent in every way! Drinks were unique and tasty, having mozzarella sticks that hold up when you lift them but cheese stretches like we’re used to with non-gf was a delight (and the caviar was a surprising upgrade), and two other diners at the bar asked if my cacio e pepe was as good as it looked, not knowing it was gf. Servers were knowledgeable and lovely, staff confirmed food was gf and safe for celiac when bringing each plate, and everything was delicious. Well worth the price for anyone on the fence

This meal was hands down the best meal I have had post gluten allergy diagnosis. The menu is extremely wide and diverse. The number of items not available gluten free is very small. In this restaurant GF means celiac safe as written on their menus. Their pasta section was large and you can substitute any of their pastas for house made celiac safe pasta. We ordered the squid ink pasta and expected it to come with a generic pasta but the variations are made celiac safe too. It felt great to eat a complete dish as intended, not missing parts here and there which has been my experience. Fried artichokes and chicken Milanese were also huge standouts for us. We sat on the patio and I think this is a perfect date night spot. We can’t wait to come back.
