I am sorry but they were not very careful and now I am feeling it.

I have celiac disease, and I explained to them about having a very serious allergy. I asked them to please change gloves and minimize cross contamination. I went with someone who did not have a gluten free order. They threw all of our fries in the bag that was not gluten free, which cross contaminated my fries. I was disappointed, and I was just going to throw them out, but we decided to go up and explain to them that they cross contaminated the fries. We asked if we could have a new batch. They proceeded to argue with us about how the fries were fine. Ultimately, they gave us new fries, after an argument over why it was cross contamination. That situation embarrassed me, and I will not be back. They also do not have gluten free buns, so you just get a greasy burger patty with some fries -- full price. There are so many burger joints out there that are informed of allergy protocols and offer gluten free these days -- bun and all, so this would be at the bottom of my list.

Love that fries are safe, wish they had a GF bun option.
Yes
This was the FIRST place my Celiac son has been able to eat at and he had ZERO issues!! Staff was nice and the place was clean, way to go!!!
Yes
The staff was understanding and friendly, but I would toss the foil for a tray the next time I order a burger. Five Guys satisfied my hunger for a juicy burger.
very understanding. since they don't fry anything breaded, even the fries are g-free here!
Not a great experience. Asked if they had gluten free options and the girl stared at me weird and then said yeah they do. I asked if they could change gloves and keep food separate while preparing and they said yes but didn’t communicate it to the back people. They didn’t change gloves and they prepared the lettuce burger with a regular bun burger side by side. Didn’t feel confident in no cross contamination.

The usual celiac five guys experience. Staff is well trained and can do a lettuce wrapped bun. Fries in dedicated fryer. Obviosuly not as safe as a sit down restaurant especially if busy but I had no issues.

I love Five Guys! No, they don't have a GF bun but the burger in a lettuce wrap is so delicious that I don't miss the bun at all. They have a separate grill for the buns so the burgers will not have CC and as long as you let them know you have celiac or are intolerant they will change gloves and take precautions. They also have a dedicated fryer so the fries are safe too! Yummm!

Separate fryer for fries. Very careful when preparing a burger and putting it in a bowl. No GF buns. Tell them you have an allergy. They will change gloves. Eaten here many times and have not been glutened
