The only thing they fry are potatoes No seasonings on meats, dedicated side for the meat versus the buns No GF bun but they do offer lettuce wrap, and a bowl option No sauce or additives on grilled vegetables. Only cross-contamination I saw was when building the hamburgers. But very willing to change gloves.

food review:
The food is definitely subpar when ordering a lettuce wrapped burger. Best thing on the menu are their fries but the burger is a wet mess- seriously! why is the lettuce wrap so slimey and gross? not to mention they always throw the burger together like a damn MESS!
celiac review:
majority of the time i feel immediately sick when eating at five guys. no matter how often i drive home that i need zero cross contamination, and no matter WHAT location i go to (i have been to them all around america) and every time it was the exact same.

Staff was good about my request to change gloves. You need to ask the cashier to put this on the ticket at the beginning of the order (ours was new and didn’t know this) The lettuce wrap was better than the bowl. I always enjoy their fries!
Will do a lettuce wrap! Fries are amazing! No cross contamination.
Don't have GF bread but the burger parties are delicious with toppings and the fries are GF
Not a great experience. Asked if they had gluten free options and the girl stared at me weird and then said yeah they do. I asked if they could change gloves and keep food separate while preparing and they said yes but didn’t communicate it to the back people. They didn’t change gloves and they prepared the lettuce burger with a regular bun burger side by side. Didn’t feel confident in no cross contamination.

The usual celiac five guys experience. Staff is well trained and can do a lettuce wrapped bun. Fries in dedicated fryer. Obviosuly not as safe as a sit down restaurant especially if busy but I had no issues.

I love Five Guys! No, they don't have a GF bun but the burger in a lettuce wrap is so delicious that I don't miss the bun at all. They have a separate grill for the buns so the burgers will not have CC and as long as you let them know you have celiac or are intolerant they will change gloves and take precautions. They also have a dedicated fryer so the fries are safe too! Yummm!

Separate fryer for fries. Very careful when preparing a burger and putting it in a bowl. No GF buns. Tell them you have an allergy. They will change gloves. Eaten here many times and have not been glutened
