I didn’t know the fry sauce wasn’t GF. If they aren’t going to have this information posted somewhere, at least have the employee tell you when you ask for the lettuce wrap. Sometimes the employee will ask, “Allergy or preference?” I wish they did that all the time. And especially give the fry sauce info to the person that responds “allergy”.

Way pricey for a burger without a gf bun..... I didn’t get sick but wouldn’t want to spend that much money on an just ok greasy burger.
Yes
They do not offer a gluten free bun but they will do a lettuce wrap. The fries are cooked in dedicates fryers and the workers changed their gloves on request.
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the workers don’t seem to be that knowledgeable at this location or just don’t care. I understand that at most fast food places the workers are teenagers just trying to make some money so I shouldn’t expect too much maturity but I would still like to be taken seriously.
For example, one time when I tried to explain that I have Celiac the guy taking the order got annoyed and said I could of just said I need gluten free. I find that it’s important for people to understand that those with Celiac are not just on a fad diet but have a legit medical need to be gluten free. He also asked if this is something that is going to kill me today and I said no but I will have symptoms for a few days and I am at higher risk for cancer and other medical issues in the long run so he responded with, “Well if it’s in the long run only then that’s fine. I was going to have the guys prepare you food in a separate section but that’s not necessary.” The food is decent but I would just be extra vigilant and make sure they take your gluten free order seriously.
Yes
This place is great about handling allergies. Had a lettuce-wrapped burger and fries. They always bag them separately from other food ordered.
Yes
Not a great experience. Asked if they had gluten free options and the girl stared at me weird and then said yeah they do. I asked if they could change gloves and keep food separate while preparing and they said yes but didn’t communicate it to the back people. They didn’t change gloves and they prepared the lettuce burger with a regular bun burger side by side. Didn’t feel confident in no cross contamination.

The usual celiac five guys experience. Staff is well trained and can do a lettuce wrapped bun. Fries in dedicated fryer. Obviosuly not as safe as a sit down restaurant especially if busy but I had no issues.

I love Five Guys! No, they don't have a GF bun but the burger in a lettuce wrap is so delicious that I don't miss the bun at all. They have a separate grill for the buns so the burgers will not have CC and as long as you let them know you have celiac or are intolerant they will change gloves and take precautions. They also have a dedicated fryer so the fries are safe too! Yummm!

Separate fryer for fries. Very careful when preparing a burger and putting it in a bowl. No GF buns. Tell them you have an allergy. They will change gloves. Eaten here many times and have not been glutened
