Worst Torchy's I've tried. Not a safe as other locations; it seems their kitchen does not implement the allergy anti-cross contamination procedures properly.

They are not careful when ordering gluten free. They just put corn taco. My shrimp taco cake out with fried shrimp.

I went the other day and I'm SO. GLAD. I got the Baja shrimp tacos. They had queso that looked amazing, but the chips aren't safe so I'll have to bring my own next time. I was a little skeptical at first because when I asked about gluten free the cashier said "gluten cautious" and also didn't automatically make my shrimp grilled instead of fries. But everything turned out well and I've pronounced it my new favorite taco place. Just take precaution like always and clarify before and after you get your food, as it's counter service which usually allows more room for mistakes.
Due to the hand crafted nature of our food, variations in our supplier ingredients, and our use of shared cooking and preparation areas, we cannot ensure that our food is free from any allergens. We prepare our foods following procedures to prevent allergen cross-contact, but products containing wheat are made in our kitchens.
Many choices but make sure you check your order since they tend to mess up a lot because they are moving quickly
While the food was delicious, as a person with Celiac disease, this was not a good place for me. They do have a gluten-free menu but don't have a designated GF food prep area and apparently my food was exposed to gluten somewhere in the process. I would recommend being very careful ordering here if you need to be absolutely sure to eat gluten free.

I've heard a lot of hype about this restaurant, I found it to be ok. I ordered the green chili carnitas taco which came loaded with meat, the flavors were good. I also ordered the sauce dip with tortilla chips which I later found out I couldn't eat since the tortilla chips shared a fryer. Thankfully I was made aware of this after ordering, it shouldn't be on the gf menu to begin with, the Angry Orchard hard cider made everything ok again. Other than that, the service was good, atmosphere was welcoming.
Love the tacos here. We have our own menu too, which makes ordering easy! Delicious!
Delicious tacos! Eaten here several times with other celiacs and no one’s gotten sick. They have a separate “gluten conscious” menu.

We attended the soft opening (it officially opens in just a few days on May 15, 2024). They confirmed they have a dedicated gluten free fryer for the chips. We've had luck at other locations with their gluten sensitive menu (avoiding chips at locations that don't have a dedicated fryer) and this one was just the same. They did mention that the potatoes recently changed to hashbrown style and those are not fried in the dedicated fryer, so just be aware of that potential if they don't switch back to diced potatoes.

The app has a lot more diet and allergen information and clear options than ordering in person. Even if you're eating there, you could review it ahead or grab a table and order on your phone, especially if you're avoiding dairy and soy. Those are much harder to identify on the in-store menu.

I got the airstream salad and it was good. There is a risk of cross contamination since it’s a shared kitchen but I didn’t get sick.

Great tacos and guac.! Pork taco on corn tortillas. Delicious! I made a huge mistake and ate the chips without thinking, ( Fried in same oil). But they change out the oil nightly and since we went early for lunch I did not get sick. Yay!!!
