I have eaten here multiple times without any issues. A gluten sensitive menu is available on request and staff seemed knowledgeable about the options. The burger options are “order without bun” which is disappointing, but the other options I’ve tried (salmon, chicken without bourbon glaze, and pecan chicken salad) have been really good.

Very nice GF dining. Enjoyed the half rack of ribs one night and the pecan chicken salad another. I am a celiac and had no reactions. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Gluten free items are marked. No dedicated fryer for fries however. Still enjoyed my meal and would go back and recommend it. Nice bar drinks, too.

Its a hit or miss. Cheddars has a decent selection of gf plates (you can find them on the website) ive eaten here multiple times, sometimes i leave and im fine, sometimes i get ill. Pretty sure its from cross contaminacion, which im very sensitive too. So of you are like me, one who is sensitive to cross contaminacion, id proceed with caution. Otherwise its a great option!

Not to contradict the previous reviewer, but unfortunately the dijon chicken & mushrooms were not listed on the gluten-free menu I received during my visit. It's honestly a pretty limited menu; just your standard steaks, salads, and burgers without buns. However, my waitress was very understanding and even offered to double check with the kitchen when I asked. I got the lemon pepper chicken, and it was fine.

I always order the grilled salmon, it comes with rice and 2 sides. I usually get a baked potato and a side salad, they have a separate gluten free menu and everyone has been super friendly when asking questions to so far! I also have not gotten sick when eating here.

Manager did provide a separate GF menu that didn’t have GF options, but suggestions of how to make things GF. I could tell our server didn’t understand gluten free so I didn’t dare venture beyond salad. I also have a nut allergy, so I had to adjust their salad options to not include nuts or gluten.
When my meal came, it was the Caesar pasta salad, with the pasta. And the salmon had been cooked with the non GF seasoning. So I was nervous to eat.
They redid my meal with a house salad and grilled a new salmon, but still charged me full price and my family had finished by the time my food came.

Normally when I place takeout orders, I call the restaurant to reiterate my allergy accommodations. The person who answered the phone didn’t provide much assurance, but they did confirm that they would communicate my allergies to the kitchen. It made me a little nervous, but everything worked out great! My food was clearly marked, and it was great for the price point. Would go again!

I wish I had more to say about this place. The first time we ate there it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Unfortunately last time we got food they were 20 mins over the time that the food was guaranteed to be ready(take out) and I’m fairly certain there was CC. We tried them again and when my husband arrived after the 30mins time they then called and said they just noticed they were out of GF ribs. Would he like something else. They offered to comp the meal only after he made a stink but said it would be another 30mins. I told him to just come home. I feel like if they’re only checking by the time the food should be ready then they probably aren’t going to be careful. I wish the experience was better.

I’ve had Cheddar’s a few times at the Terre Haute locations. Some times have ended with me sick in a bathroom, other times I’ve been fine. I am celiac and have told staff, but not all staff are knowledgeable. There was even confusion talking to the kitchen. There’s a decent selection, but better for gluten sensitive than celiac patrons.

I love Cheddar’s and other locations have been careful and accommodating, but NOT PINELLAS SPRINGS! They have a single sheet GF menu but it is lacking a detailed description. I ordered steak and grilled shrimp combo and ordered corn and baked potato. It arrived with the shrimp on seasoned rice. Since I wasn’t expecting rice, I asked our server to please verify with the kitchen that the rice was safe. He came back and said he didn’t think so because no one in the kitchen had any idea. He brought me a clean plate and new shrimp at my insistence. I asked to speak to the manager about my concerns and to encourage some additional training with his staff. The manager was NOT helpful. He can’t expect his serves to know about GF items. When our server went back to ask the kitchen, my concern was that no one knew if seasoned rice was OK to reassure me. I had also asked for no seasoning on the steak to be safe. The fact that my steak was seasoned despite my request was of no consequence to the manager. “Seasonings certainly don’t contain gluten, and they did, the menu would say order without seasoning!” The manager brought the GF menu to show me seasoned rice was on the list of sides. He certainly couldn’t expect his kitchen staff to know! They barely speak English! Apparently it was my responsibility to know it was ok since it was on the gf menu. Of course, I didn’t have the menu when my food arrived. No apology, no compensation, no acknowledgment of a need for better training, but he did offer to let me take home a copy of the GF menu so I could study the choices more carefully and be better informed next time so I didn’t need to question the server or the kitchen. There won’t be a next time!

A fair amount of GF items, however almost everything is pre-coated with butter. If you are looking for GF/dairy free options, this restaurant is not for you. We went to the Town Center location in Jacksonville and it was a very dirty location, it took three sets of silverware to get clean utensils. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
