Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.

I heard that they are celiac-friendly and wanted a quick bite on the go. This was the first time I'd gone since my diagnosis, so I went in because I was nervous about making sure it was safe for me to have it. The person who took my order had limited knowledge, maybe a recent hire. I was glad it was not very busy, and the manager took the opportunity to explain to both of us the process. Not only they have a few gf items marked on the menu, but if you tell them you have an allergy, they make sure to alert the staff, so they clean the area, utensils and change gloves before preparing the meal. They have a separate fryer for the fries, too.

They have a separate fryer at this location for their French fries, so they are celiac-safe! Tons of great GF options for fast food. When I mentioned celiac to the person taking my order she offered to relay the message and have them change gloves! Overall was treated with kindness about my allergy (which is rare in fast food) and happy to return

5-6-24 found out the grilled chicken as YEAST EXTRACT FOR THISE THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO IT!!!!
Fries and tots are designated friers…
Went to grab dinner. Ordered one meal then said, “now this order is GLUTEN FREE DUE TO ALLERGIES” gave her my order and when I pulled to window they told me, “we wiped the counter and changed gloves before prepping your gluten free meal!”
Even though they’re always busy- it’s worth the wait knowing they take it seriously!

Here is how I order here, because with so many people and a new one each time it can be confusing but they have great protocols if you are assertive and patient. I order my food separately from my family’s (because they prefer to eat gluten here). This avoids any risk of cross contamination and one time when I specified gluten free they gave the kids grilled nuggets instead of fried. Since I have begun ordering this way I haven’t had an issue. I usually order my family’s on the app for pickup inside and then mine I order at the counter or drive thru only. I say “gluten allergy” (there is a button but sometimes they will just write it in and to change gloves), and then after they hand me my food I ask again “this is for a gluten allergy, did they change their gloves?” They usually go ask to make sure and say yes. It always takes a bit longer to get my food but I smile and am grateful and patient.
I order the grilled sandwich on a gluten free bun (comes separately and you have to put it together) and fries.

My server showed real attention to my celiac needs, making a trip to the kitchen on my behalf to make sure they followed GF protocols. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten-free bun. The bun was surprisingly good, and comes sealed in cellophane, so you can assemble yourself. No problem with fries, as they do come from a dedicated fryer.

I have successfully eaten at Chick-Fil-A in a number of places while traveling. I order grilled nuggets and fruit cup or a grilled sandwich with gluten free bun. Today I ordered the grilled nuggets and fruit cup only to find a small piece of fried chicken in my fruit cup at the very bottom. I would never eat here again.

Do not go here. Period. I ordered a gluten free chicken sandwich and received the wrong order THREE times: 1) given gluten free bun with breaded chicken 2) a second gluten free bun with same breaded chicken I brought back and told them it was wrong 3) grilled chicken on a normal bun. I talked to 3 different employees including a manager explaining that breaded chicken is not gluten free and every single one of them was confused. The restaurant was so chaotic and impossible to get anyone's attention that I had to wait in the back of line every time just to talk to someone. We were there 45 minutes, received 3 wrong orders and ultimately I was so exhausted and angry and frustrated with the situation I gave up after the 3rd wrong order and left. Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE.

I’ve actually never had a reaction at this location and this is usually the location we go to when order through mobile order from Chick-Fil-A. I know in the past you were able to put a comment on mobile orders and I usually added gluten allergy, so you may have to go through the regular drive thru to let them know you have an allergy. However, I have not personally had any issues. Their fries and hash-browns are good too. 🥰

I have eaten here many times. I have found Chick-fil-A to be a very good gluten-free venue, however, If you have Celiac disease you must tell the cashier that the order is an allergy. Most places will automatically assume that GF is a diet preference and not use safe handling. They are trained in allergy handling and this is what they look for when working.

This Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food restaurants in the area since it has a gluten-free menu.
This establishment offer grilled nuggets, grilled filets, gluten-free buns, lettuce wraps, french fries (made in their own fryer), fruit, kale salad, and other larger salads which you have the option of putting grilled nuggets on and customizing to your liking.
The cashier will communicate to the kitchen if you tell them you have a gluten allergy by having the kitchen team member change their gloves.

As a celiac I would definitely not recommend this location! I also have DH and got an awful rash after eating here. I would give it a zero safety rating if that was an option. Should have known it wasn’t safe when I was handed my food and asked if it was gluten free and he didn’t know. Most likely haven’t trained the staff about cross contamination. I assumed better from chick fil a. Your meal and service was definitely not my pleasure.

The fries are always safe! I frequent this CFA and you should ask for them to change gloves just in case. I’m never confident about their sauces (Polynesian, CFA sauce) but I eat them anyway bc I like them. I do feel slightly off when doing so but I just don’t know.
Grilled chicken and nuggets are safe. Drinks are safe. Ask for their gluten free bun. It always comes in plastic, separate from everything else so it’s 100% safe to eat at least the bun!

I’ve been going here for two years since I’ve been diagnosed and I’ve never had an issue with the grilled nuggets and the waffles fries. Today I tried to order the same thing I has been the last two years and they told me that the fries are no my gluten free I was very confused and asked them if something had change and what makes them not gluten free and the manager said “we were also told they are not gluten free.” Which I’m very confused because I have ordered here many time and it even says on the website waffles fries are gluten free.

Kids wanted chik-fil-A. The chik-fil-A salads are not good, and I got sick before from the food. I wanted a salad, so I picked up a grilled chicken salad and brought it with me as my 4 other family members ate chik-fil-A for a $60 bill. The manager came over and asked me to throw the bag I had my salad in away and told me they don’t allow outside food in their restaurant. When I advised him I had a gluten allergy; he very rudely said “we have salads too.” I will not be back for awhile.
I typically am fine ordering from CFA in general. Tried the sausage breakfast bowl for the first time. I asked to be sure it was safe and staff was made aware of my allergy. After two bites I noticed pieces of fried chicken throughout it. I ended up with a migraine and vomiting.

I have been here twice. I was hesitant about going to a fast food restaurant since the majority of them give the Celiacs no options or safety. I was pleasantly surprised that Chick Fil-a has a gluten free bun! I got the Grilled Chicken Filet with a gluten free bun both times and waffle fries. Yes, this chain has a dedicated airy fryer for their fries so they are safe to eat. The food tasted great. The bun was prepackaged and the filet was put in a sealed tight plastic container. i notified them about my condition and asked if they could change their gloves. They were so kind and happy to help. It even shows on the receipt where they informed them to change their gloves. I didn't get glutened either time and am elated to have a quick place to go to. If you are wondering what items are gluten free just type in Chick Fil-a gluten free online and a link will come up on their website. Luckily, they have many grilled options so you have a good variety to choose from especially for a fast food restaurant.

I told the chick fa la worker in the drive through I have celiacs and he shared with me that there is designated fryers for the fries. He also said the fryer is used for hash browns in the morning but cleaned in between the switch from breakfast to lunch. I also got grilled chicken nuggets. I did have symptoms afterwards but I am unsure if it is from the fries. Overall very friendly workers when it comes to allergies !

I’ve been here probably 6-7 times without any issue and was excited to find a fast food that worked well for gluten free.
However today I found a piece of bun/bread in my grilled nuggets. The manager claimed it was impossible as the grilled nuggets are prepared so far away in the kitchen from their bread items. However, some of my pieces of chicken looked like they had cut up a grilled chicken patty that would be on a sandwich.
I have no idea how it would get in there… I always flag my order with a wheat allergy. I would just exercise caution if you go to this location. (Have had zero problems with the fries, they are fried separately)

I was shocked to order with a gluten allergy and be told they don't have anything gluten free *except gluten free buns* but nothing to put on them. After talking to multiple staff, the team member in charge said they do not offer or recommend gluten free as they use the same choppers for both breaded and non breaded chicken and said nothing is safe in their small kitchen. Disapponting as this is usually a safe restaurant when traveling.
