I’ve been here probably 6-7 times without any issue and was excited to find a fast food that worked well for gluten free.
However today I found a piece of bun/bread in my grilled nuggets. The manager claimed it was impossible as the grilled nuggets are prepared so far away in the kitchen from their bread items. However, some of my pieces of chicken looked like they had cut up a grilled chicken patty that would be on a sandwich.
I have no idea how it would get in there… I always flag my order with a wheat allergy. I would just exercise caution if you go to this location. (Have had zero problems with the fries, they are fried separately)

Ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich meal with a GF bun. The lady taking my order asked if it was for an allergy, and after saying yes told me that they would make sure to change their gloves. Bun came individually wrapped to minimize cross contamination. Overall great experience. Fries are even labeled as GF on their menu.

Is this the Fort Union location? This seems to be the closest one, but the address is different? Anyway, this review is for the Fort Union branch. I’m celiac, and I’ve had great luck at every Chick-fil-A I’ve tried till now. I stick to the Market Salad (sans granola and nut toppings), waffle fries, and frosted lemonade, and I always start my order by asking them to flag my food for a gluten allergy. Well, I just got halfway through my fries and found three chunks of breaded chicken right in the middle of the carton. So now all I can do is pray.

Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
I was at the Fort Union Chick-fil-a, but that doesn't seem to be in this system. It took 5 employees including the manager to try to figure out how to charge me for a gf bun, and they never did figure it out, just charged me for regular. Three people asked me if I "really needed" gluten free. I guess I could have just gotten no bun but at that point, might as well grill my own chicken. I definitely had a reaction, but I'm not sure if it was the grilled chicken sandwich or maybe just that their fries weren't actually in a dedicated fryer like they said. Would not recommend. Try Cubby's instead - it's really close and has great gf salads.

Love this location! They take good care of me and my husband every time we come - rush or deserted, dine in or drive through. I love that ALL their fries have a dedicated fry fryer. We tend to get the grilled nuggets and side salad, then make our own chicken salad. But they also have GF buns that come in plastic wrapping (not syran wrap, and actual package) for the grilled chicken sandwich. Some of their shakes are GF, including the seasonal peppermint (but check each year in case that changes!).

They offer GF buns!!!!!!

Gluten free nuggets are just OKAY. More like cut up pieces of chicken breast. What is nice is thier waffle fries are cooked in a different dryer than thier breaded items.
The best fast food options for the gluten free community. The staff at this location always go above and beyond to take care of dietary needs.

I heard that they are celiac-friendly and wanted a quick bite on the go. This was the first time I'd gone since my diagnosis, so I went in because I was nervous about making sure it was safe for me to have it. The person who took my order had limited knowledge, maybe a recent hire. I was glad it was not very busy, and the manager took the opportunity to explain to both of us the process. Not only they have a few gf items marked on the menu, but if you tell them you have an allergy, they make sure to alert the staff, so they clean the area, utensils and change gloves before preparing the meal. They have a separate fryer for the fries, too.

They have a separate fryer at this location for their French fries, so they are celiac-safe! Tons of great GF options for fast food. When I mentioned celiac to the person taking my order she offered to relay the message and have them change gloves! Overall was treated with kindness about my allergy (which is rare in fast food) and happy to return

5-6-24 found out the grilled chicken as YEAST EXTRACT FOR THISE THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO IT!!!!
Fries and tots are designated friers…
Went to grab dinner. Ordered one meal then said, “now this order is GLUTEN FREE DUE TO ALLERGIES” gave her my order and when I pulled to window they told me, “we wiped the counter and changed gloves before prepping your gluten free meal!”
Even though they’re always busy- it’s worth the wait knowing they take it seriously!

Here is how I order here, because with so many people and a new one each time it can be confusing but they have great protocols if you are assertive and patient. I order my food separately from my family’s (because they prefer to eat gluten here). This avoids any risk of cross contamination and one time when I specified gluten free they gave the kids grilled nuggets instead of fried. Since I have begun ordering this way I haven’t had an issue. I usually order my family’s on the app for pickup inside and then mine I order at the counter or drive thru only. I say “gluten allergy” (there is a button but sometimes they will just write it in and to change gloves), and then after they hand me my food I ask again “this is for a gluten allergy, did they change their gloves?” They usually go ask to make sure and say yes. It always takes a bit longer to get my food but I smile and am grateful and patient.
I order the grilled sandwich on a gluten free bun (comes separately and you have to put it together) and fries.
