Staff was kind and knowledgeable. Changed gloves and washed their hands without being told. They also let us “tweak” the side of chips to have melted cheese instead of having to order a huge order of nachos for a child.

Tasted fine but definitely was contaminated here. I had a very large gluten belly.
No
Beware of cross contamination: I am the only gluten free person in my family. I watched them prepare my son's meal prior to mine. They touched all of the preparation utensils to his flour tortilla. I asked if it was possible for the meat and sauce for my meal to come from a different bin. They said yes, and got new sauce. Then they proceeded to get meet from the same that had previously been cross contaminated. Ironically, the whole time they prepared my food, they were super careful not to touch the serving utensils to the gf tortilla. Also, the gf tortilla was unusually thick and rubbery.
No
From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
I explained that I had Celiacs. I got there around lunch time and they did not have corn tortillas & did not even offer a timeline of when they would have anymore. They told me I could have a flour tortilla... very uneducated about Celiacs. VERY DISAPPOINTING
Wanted to get enchiladas on corn tortillas, but they don't have corn tortillas at this location. only option was a taco bowl.
Very accommodating and they were so kind about our gluten free needs. Nice to have this option in Filmore for road trips.

Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
