Confused by prior reviews of the restaurant claiming lots of GF options. I called the day of my reservations and asked to speak with someone regarding my options (celiac, not intolerance, so was focusing on contamination during the call). The host was clueless and it took 2 separate callbacks to get any answers from the chef. I was told that I could have a couple veggie dishes (broccoli and carrots) and one entree (short rib). Decided to go anyways since the rest of the group was excited. Assuming the oysters were also GF, I ended up starting there before diving into the broccoli and short rib. The oysters were served with 2 different sauces, both containing gluten (seriously?? For oysters?). After finishing my other 2 dishes, the waiter brought out paella for the table swearing that it too was GF, so I had some of that as well.

The food was great, the sickness that came the next day certainly was not. The restaurant still swears that everything was GF, but my head does not lie. If you’re hoping for true GF options and a safe meal, simply put, this place is not for you.

2 star though because the food was delicious...but certainly not worth the reaction I’m still suffering from days later.

I’ve eaten here twice during my visit to LA. The staff is very knowledgeable when it come to food allergies. Everything on the menu (except for the two pasta dishes) is or can be made gluten free. When I asked about other food allergies they went back and checked with the chef.

Waiter was very knowledgable and able to check off everything on the menu that I could eat. Things I've tried: oysters, ceviche, salad (no croutons), cod, ribeye, and yogurt panna cotta. It was all delicious. And I didn't get sick. Highly recommend it.
