This review is specific to the CASTLE ROCK LOCATION. All locations seem to be different.
Asked at the host stand if they had a gluten free menu, host said everything gluten free is labeled on the menu. The manager (who happened to be right there) said that was not true but someone would come over and walk me through what was “Gluten Friendly”. Personally a red flag for me.
No one came over but our server was able to answer my questions.
She said anything fried is cross contaminated. Including the chips unfortunately. She also said all the meat was safe except one (I can’t remember which one she said).
Corn tortillas are cooked on the same surface as flour tortillas, but she assured me they would clean it before heating mine.
I was a little hesitant but ended up getting the chicken street tacos. I asked for a side of cheese and after specifying my allergy- the cheese was brought in a fried chip bowl. She took it away and we got it figured out.
I chose to still eat after all warnings and ended up feeling sick. (My mom who is not GF also felt sick after eating the chicken)
Probably will not be going bad unfortunately.

Spoke with the manager who was very specific to tell me each location is different and they are not very gluten free friendly and showed no sadness about it. Poor experience and Los Dos is a fav at OTHER LOCATIONS.

Waiter said that nothing is safe at the restaurant. Most things are cross contaminated. The corn tortillas are made on the same equipment as the flour. No gf chips. I appreciated his honesty.

I told my waiter we are gluten-free, and he sent the manager over to speak to us. She was super helpful and shared what was safe and what was not. She even included what was in the shared fryer and asked me what I felt comfortable with. Unfortunately, the rice is sautéed in shared oil, so it is not safe. However, the majority of the menu is naturally gluten-free. They also have a separate fryer available for chips. However, we did have to wait quite a while for them. I felt very safe here! No gluten-free menu, but our waiter said much of the menu could be made GF
