Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
This is one of my favorite places to get a good burger.. the allergen menu on the iPad’s that they have is super easy to use. Always have great waiters & good food - plus you can’t go wrong with endless fries!

SWEET POTATO FRIES NOT GLUTEN FREE, FRIED IN SAME DEDICATED FRYER. SO OTHER FRIES NOT GF EITHER. READ PACKAGING. THEY HAVE WHEAT PRODUCT COATING. I have Gluten Ataxia. If exposed, it causes brain damage. I ate there several times and felt weird next day. Noticed balance slightly off. Thought I was tired. NOPE!
Next time we went in I asked to see packaging for everything I ate. Their sweet potato fries are coated with the product out of Europe that falls under 20ppm, but is a wheat product. Never been back. Hate to think how much permanent damage they caused me.
And Celiacs need to be careful, just cause you don't have symptoms doesn't mean that the low level inflammation won't lead to cancer per a prior Celiac Sprue President.
FDA site says no product is allowed to be labeled as GF if it has a gluten containing ingredient. Though they haven't imposed regulations on restaurants yet.

Enjoyed my Wrap Burger and fries from dedicated fryer,
This was our third visit to this location and they have gotten way better. They have GF buns that are better than average and have always made my daughter (Celiac) very happy. The fries were iffy at best on previous visits. My wife (gluten sensitive) complained in the past about feeling glutened. They now have a dedicated fryer for steak fries and this last visit was nothing but smiling faces. Be sure to go early. Wait times can be long for GF orders during the rush.
Pretty safe when they are not busy and have time to be careful. I've eaten there many times with no problem but got glutened over this holiday season.

My son is Gluten free and has a peanut allergy. The staff is knowledgeable about GF. They have an electronic allergy menu. Very helpful. They also have GF buns! They even have use separate fryers.
This is a great place to get a very good burger with GF bun and safe fries---at a very reasonable price.
Dining in is fine, but when you order to pick up is almost always a sloppy job.

Would be nice if they had gluten free veggie burger as well

Love that they have gf buns for sandwiches and burgers. Their sweet potato fries are great gluten free too. One visit here I did get a regular bun... Luckily I recognized it as being too soft and squishy to be true gluten free bread and had the server double check back in the kitchen. They ended up preparing me an entirely new meal and did not charge me for it. I appreciated the efforts they took to fix the mistake, but it does make me a tad nervous.
The gluten-free menu here is pretty good compared to other places I've been to. Lots of different burger options. (I usually get the one with bacon and a fried egg on top - YUM!) They now feature a gluten-free bun at the Gurnee location and it's delicious! I love being able to have a normal burger alongside nice, hot steak fries from a dedicated frier and not have to worry. Sad there aren't really any appetizer or dessert options, but if you're looking for a good, inexpensive dinner, this is your place.
Red Robin in Gurner has a special GF bun. Yummmmmy!
Zero Stars!!! Red Robins Gluten Free menu SUCKS!! It's honestly two burgers and a chicken breast and hummus. You're paying full price for their regular plate that comes with trimmings and sides for just meat. I DO NOT recommend eating there if you need gluten free.
Really good lunch ! I got the cheeseburger with a gluten free bun and allergy fries, with are fried in a separate fryer. Definitely recommend and the food was delicious, my waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of celiac’s disease.

when i mentioned i had celiac disease our waitress mentioned that she did too!! i was nervous coming here but that eased my anxiety. she helped me figure out the online interactive allergy menu, and made sure my fries all came from the gf fryer. they offer gluten free buns but i just got a lettuce wrap. fry sauce is not gluten free which was sad but she brought me mayo and ketchup. food came out marked with a purple pin- waitress mentioned they have purple pins, purple gloves, and purple knives and equipment to remind them while prepping food! burgers are made on the same grill but she stated they clean the grill well when things are ordered gf. i had no issues afterwords!!

I’ve been here multiple times and their burgers are always amazing. I haven’t had a better burger, and I have been trying to make a burger like Red Robin for years, and have never made it so good. Would highly recommend the reds double, they have separate fryers and gluten free buns.
