It was an excellent bagel. And two hours after I ate half of it, I got sick. It might not have been related to the bagel, but I had waves of nausea I've never had before. Pesto Bismol chewable kept me from puking all over Manhattan. So I edited yesterdays rave review. Maybe others will chime in and say they dud just fine, so I don't want to hurt their business. But in all honesty, I got sick after eating there

Cross contamination is an issue (they use the same toaster for all bagels), but probably the best GF bagel I’ve ever had.

No gluten-free protocols were followed here. Bagels are gluten-free, but they cut them on the counter with all the regular bagels, use shared cream cheese, toaster, etc. Definitely not celiac safe.

DO NOT GO HERE! The bagels they provide are not gluten free. Unsure they labeled the basket it was in incorrectly or what but got immediately sick upon digesting them. Even though I asked for precautions when preparing (not that it would have mattered because the bagel was glutinous) they had absolutely no idea about cross contamination or how to properly handle food allergies

While not dedicated gluten free, I told the guy it was an allergy and he was so sweet! He made sure to show me he got all new stuff and changed his gloves, and verbally shared what he was doing. I couldn’t toast the bagel, but it was still shockingly the best gf bagel I’ve ever had. Def returning.
