Absolutely obsessed with this place and so grateful it exists. However, a few things to be aware of to have a safe trip: 1) not all grocery items are gluten free. However, everything they make in house (prepared foods, pasta, breads, sandwiches) is 100% gluten free and the kitchen is dedicated GF, no chance of contamination. 2) the bread used Caputo GF flour, which uses celiac safe wheat starch that is unsafe for wheat allergies. 3) anything from Knead Love Bakery is NOT celiac safe. They sell a few breads and cinnamon buns from them - there’s a chance of CC at Knead Love and they use non GF oats. All the knead love products are separately packaged, but the gluten free labeling is misleading.

If you go in knowing all of this, I think it’s absolutely celiac safe and such a gem. I think their croissant is the best in NYC, and also love their fresh pasta, focaccia, brioche, and muffins. They’re starting to broaden their offerings too, with egg sandwiches and French toast in the morning, paninis, pizza, etc. They also have coffee and opened up some cafe seating outside. A great place to stock up on GF groceries, and even better for grabbing a quick and decently priced meal or snack. Very highly recommend!
