The Cheesecake Factory has an extensive gluten free menu. Gluten free options include pasta, burgers (with buns), and cheesecake for dessert.
I let the server know I was gluten free - coeliac multiple times so she would get my order right and I confirmed with her again before my meals came out and she still gave me the gluten cheesecake instead of the gluten free one

I went here and ordered a gluten free burger and bun. The food came with a gluten bun. I sent it back as I noticed it wasn’t gluten free. I woke up sick as a dog for two days. If you’re sensitive don’t eat here. Even after the gluten free bun change I still got sick.

Was not bad but experience varies by server. We came twice as staying nearby... only on the 2nd visit did our server correct the misinformation from the first server.
There is NO dedicated fryer... it is shared oil. A lot of the staff are unclear of the difference

Tried to order a gluten free four cheese pasta for my Celiac daughter. When asked if they cook the pasta in separate water and use separate utensils, they said unfortunately they cook it in the same water as gluten pasta and they can’t use separate water. :(

This location is always great about my celiac and i’ve never had an issue. They do have a dedicated fryer, delicious Gf buns for burgers (that they actually heat up), and they change gloves when preparing

I went here on a work lunch. The server knew about cross contamination because I was asking about the side that comes with the omelette and she mentioned the potatoes are not safe for that reason. I ended up going with the Mexicali salad without the tortilla strips due to CC. When the food came out she announced mine was gluten free which reassured me. I don’t feel sick

I tend to get items marked gluten free as long as they’re not fried. They do not use a separate GF fryer. The pasta has always been a hit for me!

I’ve only been here twice, on vacation one year apart. I’m pretty sure last time I didn’t have issues.
But the server said that they don’t have a dedicated fryer, so the offered gf fries are not really gf.
I kinda recall that it was the same the last time I was here, as I always get the same thing.

I ordered a ceasar salad, gluten free, no croutons. The salad came out and appeared to have no croutons, but once I started eating it, there were several at the bottom covered in dressing it was clear they had accidently made it with croutons, then picked them out, missing several. Do not eat here! They are not properly trained.

I went last night and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the tamale cakes and told the server I was GF due to allergy, not lifestyle. She made note and said she would like the kitchen know. When my food came out, I questioned again if it was GF, the server was not sure and took it back to the kitchen to confirm. I appreciated that he didn’t just say yes, but made sure. I felt fine after eating there and the tamale cakes were fantastic!

Menu has "GF upon request" marked on the menu.
Staff said the kitchen is a huge open cross contamination field and unless it was marked she wasn't sure.
I asked about having the Carbonara with the GF pasta and to check that they didn't use flour in the sauce.
She left and confirmed with the kitchen that "there was a modification in the computer to make it GF.
There isn't much in options. For app or desserts. Definitely nothing if cross contamination is an issue.

I have noticed it has gone downhill when it comes to Being taken seriously when it says gluten-free. I have tried to eat here many times (when I used to work there) and I get sick every time whether it’s a salad, burger or pasta. I have said some thing to not only the kitchen managers but also my regular managers and nothing has changed. Don’t want my fellow celiac’s getting sick. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great restaurant and has great food and I loved working there just wish the kitchen took it seriously.

Had a burger with salad. Server was very knowledgeable about what needed to be substituted to make the meal safe and made sure he checked everything before putting the order in (e.g. fries not safe due to fryer). Was very impressed. Edit: ordered a cheesecake slice to go, the one in the display case for was contaminated so I asked for a fresh slice from the back which they happily accommodated.

Idk how the rest of chain is but the one in Birmingham, al has no knowledge of celiacs or gluten free. Worse though they act like they do so you never know what food to trust. Been there twice since my dx. Been glutened twice. Also don’t trust the online tool for it either. Wings are listed on there and they are breaded…

Got a happy hour hamburger in the bar area with a gluten-free bun. It was toasted beautifully. The waiter brought the wrong bun at first and thought he could just switch it out. Then I told him he had to redo it which he happily did. I had a gluten-free pasta there another time which was good.
Have lots of outdoor seating where you could probably have a dog. Reservations are recommended as this place is busy. .
They have a gluten-free cheesecake option for plain cheesecake or strawberry topping. No dairy free cheesecakes that I’ve seen.

I came here with my mom and grandma for lunch, and truly had an incredible experience! They have gluten free burger buns, they have their own frier that they use to make french fries safe, and best of all, they have amazing gluten free chocolate cheesecake! Our server was so knowledgeable about our options and took great care to make sure my meal was gluten free. I can’t wait to come back.

It’s not worth it, at all. I wanted to give it a try since it hasn’t been a couple years since the last GF review. My wife and I went for lunch and they have maybe 2-3 options in each section of 10+ items that are gluten free optional. If you get something that is GF but is fried, it’s not separated to a GF fryer. You’d think with all of the selections they have, they’d have more GF options.

Ordered a burger with a GF bun and the GF Godiva chocolate cheesecake. Burger initially came out on a regular bun and I had to ask them to check it. They were apologetic and remade it quickly, but just be extra cautious. The GF burger was good though and the cheesecake was amazing. They had many other GF items on the menu.

My daughter is newly gluten free and Asymptomatic, so not overly concerned about cross contamination as we have started navigating the restaurant world, but did ask all the questions. The hostess was not able to help, referred us to the bakery for questions. I was a little concerned, as the menu gave warnings about possibility of cross contamination, but the server was very helpful, answered all our questions and assured us that the gluten free meal (pasta), was made in its own, clean, gluten free pots, utensils. Cheesecake options were limited, which disappointed my 12 year old, but she loved both GF cheesecake that we ordered.

I have been hesitant to go to cheesecake factory shops because I read a very bad review, but this location was the best experience I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. I explained my celiacs and other food sensitivities to the server and he was very accommodating and checked everything with the chefs. Amazing experience and a very nice location

Cheesecake Factory is a good option if you have a big group with lots of opinions. They have specific kitchen protocols for gluten free (tell them it’s an allergy) including a physical checklist for the staff. That’s something I’ve never seen before- awesome! I attached a picture of the precautions below.

I made the mistake of not checking here before we went with some family yesterday. The waiter seemed to lack care about asking for gluten free pasta and did not even ask if it was an allergy or preference as most places do. When I asked for gluten free pasta he even corrected me today so you want the farfelle pasta, I responded I would like the gluten free one please. I followed their online gluten free menu and unfortunately also tried their “gluten free” lowlicious cheesecake. Starting shortly after eating there the symptoms started. They shouldn’t advertise gluten free if they aren’t educating their staff on it. Even the waitress who brought the item just said the type of pasta it was and not that it was gluten free. I had to ask her to be sure and she just answered “uh sure”. I guess these all should’ve been red flags but I wasn’t trying to make a seen. I guess I would next time because I am absolutely miserable today. I would not recommend.

My friend had gotten sick from this cheesecake factory twice! Both times were take out. The first time they gave them regular pasta instead of gluten free. Most recently they gave them fries that must have been cooked in the wrong frying oil. NOT SAFE. Hoping they see these reviews and have some kind of refresher course for the staff on allergens.

We went for dessert and the food was great. They have three GF, completely flourless cheesecakes: regular, strawberry, and chocolate. The chocolate was better than my boyfriend’s non-GF one! Would come back for a sweet treat again.

So I've been to CF before in other places. Here was wonderful. The waitress kept on checking with the chefs on cooking and cross contamination. I'm gluten and dairy free. Enjoyed the tamale cakes with creams on the side and Evelyn's lunch portion gf pasta. Changed sauce to oil and added their dairy free cheese (from the Vegan hamburger). Their GF buns are NOT dairy free, was disappointed, but at least I was told that.

Full disclosure: I had never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory before finding out I have celiac. This could fill a ten if you loved it before hand.
I knew there would likely be rampant cross contamination. The waiter also couldn’t answer any questions about gf protocols. My food did come out marked as gf which was something. However, it made me sick (not horrific- just cross contamination sick which for me means severe intestinal pain, hives, and that allergy feeling that makes you feel like you’ve been hit by a truck).
If you have celiac and have a choice- go to one of the other 500 restaurants around here. If your 7-year-old niece is giving you sad eyes because she wants to go here and it’s her special day in Chicago getting an American Girl doll and seeing her aunt, brace yourself for getting sick.
