So I have Lupus and I’ve developed a new problem… Gluten! I didn’t have time to cook yesterday so we tried Chili’s. I looked up the GF menu. Easy and printable! I ordered the Guiltless Margarita Chicken with a side salad, Citrus Balsamic Vinaigrette. So good! I did eat some chips (I couldn’t help myself) which probably explains why my skin is all itchy today. I give Chili’s a šš»

Chili's always surprises me. I order the three for me meal with hamburger (no bun no butter, as I'm df too). And get the side of corn, no butter, instead of fries ( cross contamination)

Chili’s definitely impressed me with their extensive gluten free options. No gluten free buns, but can get bun less. But the best part is they have a dedicated fryer for French fries!!!! Some of the menus has places that shows the chips to be gluten free, however the Chili’s in Ennis’s they are not in a dedicated fryer but the French Fries have a dedicated fryer.

I was traveling for a family funeral & was not familiar with this particular area. After we attempted to eat at Reba’s but it was closed we were going to continue driving until we found a place who come accommodate my special dietary issues & restrictions. As we were driving we found a relatively new Chili’s. I spoke to your mgr on duty & she was more than knowledgeable and even made sure the cook staff were aware. Thank you SO much.

We called four times to ensure that our order was gluten-free, and when it was arrived, both “gluten-free” cheeseburgers were served on gluten buns

Not a great experience. No gluten free fries, wings, buns, or tortilla chips. In their website they claim they are gluten friendly. The only things I could have were salads, some sides (corn, potatoes) and ribs.

I’ve been coming to this location for years. I almost always get the chipotle chicken fresh mex bowl. Switched it up with ribs last night and the BBQ sauce was really good!

The waitress knew nothing about gf. She went back into the kitchen and came back to tell me I only had two options. I “googled it” and they have an online gf menu that is much more extensive.

The chef came out and spoke to me about the gluten free options and how sensitive my cross contamination issue was. He came out and checked to make sure everything went smooth. Very impressed, not much things you can have that don’t have cross contamination though.

I had a great experience at the Chili’s in Ennis, TX. The waitress was very knowledgeable and showed me how to find the products without gluten. There is no dedicated gluten free menu, but online you can look it up at the table. I got chicken fajitas and asked them to cook it on a clean surface and it could not touch any wheat or gluten products. She totally understood and went back to explain to the kitchen. Corn tortillas were rolled up in foil so no CC. Felt very comfortable that my food was safe!!

They have a gluten allergy menu, however very limited true options. The only 2 items that were safe was a house salad minus the croutons and the loaded potato soup. Everything else was cross contaminated during the cooking process. The staff had no knowledge of gluten allergy or how to advise their guests on their menu items.

My husband has a severe gluten intolerance and is sensitive to cross contamination. This is the only Chili's we've visited where he didn't get sick. We made sure to tell the server about his gluten intolerance when ordering. He always orders the ribeye with out the butter and double steamed broccoli. We've had success ordering here both in the restaurant and online.

Used the online gluten free menu. Ordered the ribs with a sauce that was gluten free and gluten free sides. Informed my waiter about having celiacs. Food came out with a side of bread on my plate. When I asked the waiter he said “i don’t know what your allergy was”. Oh well its kinda what I expected being a chain and all. Loved chilis before I was diagnosed. Waiter was great otherwise and I was able to explain the allergy and stuff for future reference.

THE BEST CHILIS! They are so good with me being celiac, so kind and so knowledgeable. Their chips are cooked in the same oil as other food products, so I bring my own chips and they always get me my own personal salsa! I have never had a bad experience here or gotten sick, Chili’s is my boyfriends favorite so we come here often

Edit: It has been a while since this review. We went this week for dinner, and was told that they cook the buns on the grill with the meat. This has never been mentioned before, so now ribs were the only option and they were dry and gross. Bummer. We have been very pleased with Chili's! Our celiac daughter has eaten there several times with no issues, and she is super sensitive. I only wish they had a dedicated fryer for the chips!

I ordered Ribs, plain rice and cole slaw. My Ribs were ok. The rice had no seasoning or sauce. The cole slaw was missing mayo, acv and seasoning. It was just cabbage. The waitress did not hand us the device to pay our bill. We waited 20 mins to do so.

There allergen menu is comprehensive and available online and in the restaurant on the little screens at each table. Gluten-free options are slim as many items are marked cross-contamination risk. Waitstaff is knowable about their procedures. I usually have the baby back ribs with the house sauce. Their online ordering does not have a place to mark allergies or request accommodations.
