Super safe and I LOVED the food! The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac and was patient answering questions about prep etc to prevent cross contamination. Menu is mostly GF, but they took all the precautions to ensure safety. The waitress also reassured us that the manager of the restaurant was in the back watching our meal preparation! I was SO impressed. We had the seafood pasta dish, cauliflower soup, and seafood platter. Everything tasted amazing and NO reaction- Super sensitive celiac. We will be back!!!

Been here multiple times and have not gotten sick, I always have the Salmon, so I can’t speak to the safety of other menu items.

The Salmon is the best I have ever had!!

From January 2024 recommendation by Vanderbilt University Celiac Clinic:

Bestia Mare is a southern Italian seafood restaurant that opened in October 2023 in downtown Franklin. Their menu includes a variety of already gluten-free items including gluten-free pasta) as well as items that can be accommodated to be gluten-free. While they do not have a separate gluten-free fryer they can pan fry nearly everything fried on the menu (make sure you tell your sever that your food cannot go in the fryer) and are trained to safely handle gluten-free food.
