This was my first time eating at CPK since my Celiac diagnosis. I was pleased to find a few pizzas with the blue triangle logo, which means the preparation process is validated by the GIG (Gluten Intolerance Group). I ordered the gf bbq chicken pizza, and it came with a gluten free flag in it. It was a thin crust and was unfortunately very burnt (they were extremely busy that night), but I felt fine after eating it and enjoyed the opportunity to eat a fresh pizza for once!

Solid choice. No gluten issues. My food came out separate and marked. I have eaten at different locations so I was not worried about cross contamination but some people may be concerned

We ate here because our flight got in late and we were too tired and hungry to search further. My husband and I split a pizza and each had a wedge salad. I realize it’s a chain but man, no thought or love went into the food. On the bright side, the place was dirty and smelled like an old dishrag.

Ate lunch here today. Had bbque pizza and it was great. Also had wedge salad. Manager came out and told me they make pizza in different area of kitchen and in separate pan. Feel good so far. Celiac.

I told the waitress I had to eat gf. She asked if it was health or choice and when I told her health, she sent the chef to our table. He explained their procedures and that they prepared the pizza in a separate area of the kitchen. I had the mushroom and pepperoni pizza. It came marked with a gf stick. Tasty!

They were very good and noted coeliac when taking our order. My daughter had the cauliflower crust Pizza, which was sooo good. Food was very slow, waited over 1 hour for food. (Was mothers day and we were a group of 13)

I ate here and the server and staff was knowledgeable about GF and even stated there is only 4 GF pizzas available. I got the BBQ chicken and it was delicious! I would go back! 🤙🏽

Waited 45 minutes and was never waited on. It wasn’t even busy. So disappointed as I have heard great things about this store.

We ate here twice during our stay, both times felt safe, wait staff new the procedures with gluten free. Very tasty cauliflower base pizzas. Piece of mind that the restaurant is a GF validated establishment by the GIG. Would definitely eat here again.

Great place. Everyone is aware of gluten-free and how they prep and cook their Pizza. Mushroom Pepperoni and sausage pizza was great, with certified gluten free meats used.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! i know that it seems like a quick and easy option for gf but they got our order wrong THREE TIMES. i don’t know why we kept trying honestly- we told the manager that we could’ve been hospitalized because of them giving us gluten pizzas and he responded with phrases like “calm down” and kept cutting me off and talking over me. DO NOT give this business your money please. i also saw the manager go back and yell very rudely at his employees, many of which seemed scared of him, and rightfully so. also the call service is horrible and needs to be fixed in order for mistakes like this to not happen anymore. Zero stars. never returning, and i urge you not to as well.

The menu had gluten free options the gluten free pizza menu is a seperate menu. We waited well over 30 mins for drinks and our pizzas came out cold and the gluten free pizza was so hard to cut I had to ask them to re-cut it. The place was not very busy either.

We visited here. They have a special gluten free menu. Just ask and then they will bring it over. They told us that they have a special prep area and wrap it to cook so it is safe. They did a great job and made sure to keep everything clear about what they were doing.

I had a great experience at the California Pizza Kitchen! Although my server wasn’t the friendliest, he ensured me that the gluten free pizza had its own area to be made in! Then the manager brought it out for me and told me it was gluten free! Really tasty thin crust and delicious pepperoni! 😁

We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the pepperoni for our party. The manager came over to tell us they are cooked in a separate part of the kitchen to ensure no cross contamination.
Yes
The GF pizza is so good I made the waitress double check that they didn’t send out the wheat based crust by accident! 4-5 pizza options, wish they had a GF salad option; hopefully that is coming. Staff is knowledgeable and always treat Celiac as serious.

Staff was very kind and brought out manager to assure pizza would be gluten free! The prepped it in a separate area and there was 0 cross contamination. I love it and would go back in a heart beat!
Yes
such good cauliflower crust!! super crispy and good. when i ordered my pizza, the waitress assured me all items were GF. then when my pizza was served, the manager brought it on a separate plate and assured me it was completely GF. i’ve ate here multiple times and have had no issues and i’m very skeptical when eating out!! definitely recommend

We came here our first night in Waikiki. We had the BBQ pizza on GF cauliflower crust and the Italian sausage option. Our server handed us a menu that had the GF options on it. The server seemed super rushed and not interested in our allergies, so we were nervous she wouldn't talk to kitchen and take precautions about cross contamination, but the food was good and no reactions. We wouldn't eat here by choice, just because it wasn't very special or exciting, but the flavor was good and we didn't get sick - just not anything really worth craving again.
Yes
We came here expecting very good gluten free pizza based on what we had heard from others. However, the GF pizza was just on their cauliflower crust, which although fine, was quite flat and a little oily. Also, the cauliflower crust contains both eggs and milk, so if that is a problem for you, there is nothing you can have here except for salads. They were cautious and careful about our gluten free order. In general if you have other allergies, this is not the best place, both because of the ingredients of the crust and because when we asked to change up some toppings our server got a little touchy and reminded us forcefully that CPK does not have a design-your-own pizza option.
Yes
Pizza was delicious! Cooked and made in its own dedicated area. Yum!!
Yes
Maybe I’ve been spoilt by terrific GF pizza elsewhere, but this pizza was kind of soggy and uninspired.
Yes
They have a separate station for gluten free pizza to avoid cross contamination. Only a few options for gluten free pizzas but they were great. Ate here twice and didn't get sick.
Yes
This place was great. They gave us a lot of reassurance about their procedures. The GF menu had 4 pizzas that are prepared safely for celiac. We ate here 3 times with no problems. Pizza was really good too.
Staff were very knowledgeable and mentioned that they are strict about Ava posing cross contamination by preparing the gf in a seperate part of their kitchen. It was great!

If you are in the mood for a pizza while in Hawaii, try them out for a quick bite. Our server was very knowledgeable and had a separate gluten free menu. I always love their original barbecue chicken pizza. You can get it in a g-free crust or (as the server suggested) the g-free cauliflower crust. It was delicious and I felt great!
Yes
Small dedicated GF/Celiac menu (4 pizzas), BUT with peace of mind as they are the four that adhere to the strict protocol to avoid cross contamination. (They can make their other pizzas on a GF crust or their new cauliflower crust, but cannot guarantee no CC). I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza with Avocado and Pineapple along with a GF Apple Cider - and it was so good! Server was friendly and knowledgeable, reasonable pricing too.
Yes
I get sick if I get any cross contaminated food and had a delicious pizza here and did not get sick. Server was very knowledgeable and made sure my food was safe. Highly recommend this place.

The gluten-free options are clearly indicated on the menu (not a lot), but there are prepared in the same kitchen as the regular meals (so was I told by our waitress). There is also an independent menu for strictly gluten-free pizzas (4 sorts). Our waitress was quite aware of the situation and gave good advice. I had a pizza which was quite tasty (so far one of the best pizza dough I've tried).
Yes
Only a few options, but Yummy and kept completely seperate.
Yes
While they technically have a GF menu,, the staff is not understanding of what thateans. Our pizza was a wheat crust pizza and we had to send it back twice.
Short list, I think 4 pizzas, that are assured GF, which was very re-assuring. The waiter was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, fulfilling all of our requests for GF info on ingredients and processes. Our table had both GF and Non-GF eaters and special care was given to the GF food. I ate well, enjoyed the outside balcony table and had no ill effects. Will definitely eat there again.
Yes
If you are going for pizza I am sure it's celiac friendly. Otherwise there s NOTHING else on the menu for a celiac- even salads as all the ingredients are pre-prepped. Last time I was at this restaurant in Waikiki I was able to eat their salads but obviously the chain has gone toward the fast food end of the market and there is no room for adapting fir celiacs. In fairness the server knew to warn me and that is a plus!
Had Italian chop salad and all 4 of there certified GF pizzas. Excellent meal with the family. Great job CPK.
Yes
So the poke I had last night seemed more authentic, but this is CPK, so I wasn't expecting authenticity. Just an easy meal where my kid would be happy and I could relax, knowing I wouldn't get glutened. And that's what I got. Mahalo!
Also, I like their fruit ice tea.
Yes
Only 3 options of pizza that are guaranteed GF, prepared separately with full GF items. Had the barbecue chicken pizza, tasty. I do not show symptoms, cannot guarantee.
Yes
Wonderful location. Great service. Pizza (as quoted by my son the GF pizza connoisseur) was absolutely fabulous. Both of us are celiac and sensitive and we are both just fine. I had the Cobb salad and pizza with him. Items are marked GF.

Amazing BBQ chicken pizza. Liked it so much for lunch. Went back for supper
Four pizzas that are certified and gluten free crust for any other pizza.
Went here tonight and the chicken pizza was the best I have had since Coeliacs disease 5 years ago. Thin crispy base, yum. Waiter was knowledgeable and pizza came out with a gf flag on it. Wish I had a place like this in Australia.

The manager Mike was fabulous. He explained to me in detail that they prep separately, use a clean pizza cutter, and place an aluminum cover over the pizza in the oven to prevent cross contamination. They have gluten free certified pizzas (triangles on menu). Mike was very patient and totally understood the importance.
