We recently went during restaurant week. There were eight of us and we all got spaghetti parm. I specifically asked if it was cooked in separate water (yes). Mine came out with parsley on it to differentiate it from the other servings. It will delicious and I had no issues afterwards. The only thing was my salad came out with croutons on it. I sent it back and a new one was brought out immediately. We’ll definitely be back now that I know I can eat there safely.

We had a great dinner here. Two daughters with celiac. We had visited without them and were so surprised to see they had a whole page of gluten free options. Had a great chat with waitstaff and manager that reassured me about their safety practices so brought daughters this time we were in town. They were thrilled to have a delicious Italian meal for a change. We had both gluten and gluten free versions of the spaghetti Parmesan at our table and they were clearly garnished differently to show the difference. Gluten free rolls brought as well. Staff very knowledgeable.

Add to your bucket list: Chef’s Italian Restaurant in Buffalo! It was beyond amazing! All the family restaurant feels — 100 years in the making! I had to ask a few times if the mozzarella spaghetti and meatballs were g-free. “Yes dahlin’ it’s gfree!” — (with a perfect New York accent) , said the amazing waitress who was so serious! I managed to get a smile from at the end because she could tell how grateful I was! Oh and their buns!!!! 🤩 p.s. extra small would have been plenty!! That small part where the meatball was all I could eat…leftover containers are a plenty!

I felt slightly glutened after I left here. Not violently ill, but something wasn't right. They do have gf bread & butter which was very exciting. Probably won't go back.

Had a handful of rice spaghetti pasta dishes. I got the pesto spaghetti, which was pretty expensive and super plain. Still tasted good and had no reactions to it, but not worth the cost when it’s the easiest thing to make at home. Did have a gf bun for dipping in oil.

I was very excited to be able to eat at Chefs and ordered the pasta Parmesan meal but pretty sure they mixed up the pasta as I became very sick on the ride home . Not a good experience

Super knowledgeable staff, more then willing to accommodate not only gluten allergy but also dairy free. They serve gluten free bread for no extra charge. The servers are more then willing to explain how anything is made and what the dish contains. Definitely would return. Very tasty dishes!

Chef's is amazing. I miss it since I moved to South Florida, but cannot wait to visit when I'm on vacation. GF spaghetti parm is amazing. Sauce is GF. That's all you need to know!

Chef's was always a favorite of mine before I went G-free, and I was really sad to think that I couldn't enjoy their pasta anymore. It was so exciting to find a decent gluten-free menu that included my favorite dish, spaghetti parm! The pasta they used was good quality too and didn't fall apart under all that cheese and sauce.

For the GF eater...you have to try their sundried tomato pasta dish...I don't remember the actual name, but this dish has a great taste and totally different from any traditional pasta dish.

Although the food was delicious I purchased a very small carrot cake, expecting it to be a little more expensive I didn't realize how expensive it would be. They charged me 40$ for a small carrot cake. I almost died at the price. Way too expensive!!
