Staff seemed knowledgeable about gluten allergies and cross contamination-changed gloves and spoons for everything. Plus they were so nice about it!

My go to place in Cedar! I don’t ever ask for separate things because I’ve never had a problem with cross contamination here! I get a bowl every time and every time I’ve felt great. Perfect for dairy allergies and vegans too! Check out their allergen menu online :)

They are Very careful about cross contamination. Just let them know before they start your order that you have a severe gluten allergy and they will literally drop everything, switch out every spoon for the items you're requesting and bag it separately. Make sure to get the gluten free corn tortillas. There's still a small chance of cross contamination, but it's way smaller than you would find at most other restaurants. The single serve chips & salsa/guacamole aren't prepared as carefully, so proceed with caution on those. They have an easy allergen menu chart online to help you know which foods are have gluten already and which don't.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
We ate here for the first time last night and it was great! They seemed knowledgeable about celiac, changed gloves and switched out spoons. Also, if you look online, they tell you everything they make that has gluten, which is basically just there tortillas. My celiac son who is highly sensitive ate here with no problems!

😭🥰 I just had the best experience here! I felt a little anxious as it was the peak of lunch time, but the line was incredible! They took out the utensils, cleaned the bar, and were gracious. The food it delicious! I made sure to tell the manager how great her staff was. I’ll be back.

Stopped here for lunch while traveling through the area. I asked the first person to change their gloves. They didn’t understand, but another employee helped explain. I had to ask the next employee down the line let the first person continue to add the toppings. There was much confusion about this. I guess it was ok in the end because I didn’t get sick. But I wouldn’t recommend this location. The rice tasted different and they were completely out of ice. Warm soda topped off a pretty frustrating experience.

Of the local locations it’s the best. But still not great. They’ll take the precautions as needed. But, and fully understanding why, at lunch rush you’ll have to wait and they’ll be obviously upset. And the drive thru/ online order is always cross contaminated.

Ordered online which might have been a mistake. They have the option to select and allergy and I was careful with my ordering and making notes, but still got sick.
