I have Celiac and they were fantastic. They made notes to the chef in my order and the food was perfectly GF. They are 99% GF to begin with, so it only takes a bit of extra work to accommodate. I’d like to also add that I was with a huge group and they handled my needs perfectly.

Great experience- manager went out of his way to answer questions, explain to the person serving food how to keep things safe, and charged us for less since my son is picky and only wanted chips/cheese.

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
I eat here occasionally for lunch and they’ve always been careful about my gluten free order. Lots of gluten free options too!

Wonderful! Even places gluten meal in a box to separate from the gluten free meal ordered. Very friendly and they highlighted the modifications and gluten friendly request in highlighter to emphasize. All without any special request to highlight it. Was very friendly staff too at the time. Cross contamination made me sick.
No
Yes
This used to be my go-to place for lunch during the work day. Ate there several times for years without any problems. However, during the past year or so I've gotten sick every single time I've eaten there. I think where they were once vigilant to keep your order gluten free they aren't quite as careful any more. No dedicated GF area and they use the same spoons and tongs to dish the food onto your plate that they use to dish it on to flour tortillas. You WILL get cross contamination here. If you don't have Celiac you'll be fine, but if you do have Celiac go somewhere else if you don't want to be sick.

They were quick to change their gloves but they did not prepare the food in a separate area. Same toppings and same utensils used. Cross contamination a large possibility.

Great place! The team changed their gloves put foil down on the fryer it was great.
Exceptional care given to our GF order. And the food was great!
Very Impressed with the care taken to eliminate cross contamination... Change of gloves, seperation work station, etc.
The food is fresh tasting and comparable to a Chipotle or Moe's in style.
I ordered and greatly enjoyed the tacos. The corn tortillas were unusually good (let's be honest, soft corn tortillas are normally dismal). My kids (also celiacs) ordered tacos as well. We shared queso which was on the thin side but tasty.
I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

I placed a phone order and the woman on the line was very patient though a little hard to understand. We ordered burritos and asked for corn tortillas. The portions were good and the food tasted real and fresh though it was bland and pretty bare bones. I would have liked more options and more authentic flavors but overall it was good and no one got sick so I'd eat there again.

I love this place!! When you say "gluten free" they wash their hands and change their gloves like a surgeon going into the O.R. If only surgery was as precise as their salad and taco making skills I'd have a new nose.
This is by far the best gluten free restaurant, very confident about the food, everything seems prepared fresh, the habanero salsa (extra cost) is very good and the employees seem to be trained to deal with gluten intolerant customers, not totally sure of the celiac thing, but for a guy like me that seems to be just intolerant, Costa Vida is my favorite !!
Yes
This place has great food, then add in the gluten free options and you really have to stop in and try this place out! Love the food, the prices, the loyalty program and the people!
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
