Server said the kitchen takes careful precautions for gluten allergy when notified. I’m sensitive to being glutened and been here many times and never got sick!

Nov.2023 There is no marked gluten-free menu items I did not feel safe eating here so I just had coffee and orange juice.

Another update for 2022. Had my favorite omelette and excellent coffee. They have oat milk now :). I skipped everything else for safety but also I go for the omelette and it is huge. Felt great after and ate the second half for breakfast today. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I still really enjoy this place.

Excellent restaurant but the wait staff and hostess roll their eyes and act annoyed when you ask about safety for those of us who HAVE to be gluten free from medical reason of celiac.
Egg Plantation DOES NOT HAVE A GLUTEN FREE MENU. They do not have anything gf except for Udi’s bread for those on a trendy gf diet. They do not know if their bacon, turkey or any add ins or menu items are gluten free. I spoke to two wait staff and both said they only have gluten free bread. Two eye rolls with descriptions from waitstaff and I left.
There is another gluten free restaurant on the same block, in the yellow building on the corner with a gluten free menu.

The host who seated us acted irritated when I asked for a GF menu and informed me the kitchen is not gluten free and the only items they had that were gluten free were gluten free toast and french toast (udis) I knew that couldn't be true because they offered fruit. I believe he was just under informed. They do have 101 omelettes and the one I had did not make me sick.

An excellent breakfast and a friendly staff. I definitely will stop by again when I am traveling nearby again.
Overall, great experience. Staff seems knowledgeable about both gluten and dairy allergies. They can't guarantee there won't be cross-contamination though.

I'm VERY puzzled by the good reviews this place has received! The "gluten-free" menu is a copy of the regular menu marked up with X's and checks and random words crossed out. When I told my server that I wasn't sure what these marks meant she said she didn't either! So, I explained to her that I cannot eat gluten or I will be very sick. She was quite rude at this & said she didn't understand the gf diet! When I asked if there was someone else who could help me understand what I could safely eat. She repeatedly asked me loudly if I had an issue with this. It seemed like she was trying to humiliate me so others could hear how difficult I was or something! She finally left & went to get help. The owner came out & was clearly told that I was a problem because she was rude too. When I explained that I was hoping to understand what on their menu was gluten free. She responded by telling me that "is not a nutritionist!". I had enough & told my sister I didn't feel comfortable eating there & would like to leave. The owner started trying to explain her response saying that she was doing paperwork & not prepared to wait on customers & she could definitely tell me what was gluten free on the menu. I politely told her (although I was very upset at how I was being treated) that I did not feel confident that she could & I did not want to risk getting sick. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! I can honestly say that since my celiac diagnosis 5 years ago I have NEVER been treated this way anywhere else EVER!

Great variety of selections on GF menu! My 7 year old loves the ham! I loved the fact that they offer gluten free bread!!! Food was great. Staff were knowledgeable and were careful of not cross-contaminating.
Thanks!!

Little busy, but good food, and good service
They are a great place for breakfast, currently working on a printed gluten free menu. They will sub Udi's bread as a side for toast and even make their French toast with it. Last time we went had their regular menu with gluten friendly items starred.
