Went here before leaving on a trip. BIG MISTAKE! The lady at the register had a blank stare as we tried to explain to her my Celiac/severe gluten allergy. She spoke to the cook in Spanish. He nodded and said ok, no gluten. Within 10 minutes of eating I could tell I had been glutened. Made my trip miserable but it was my fault. I should have not eaten it. I’m new to this and am still naive to believe people will understand.

I have never had an issue at Five Guys. It’s so great to have a burger and fry place. Sure friendly and consistent

Great lettuce wrapped burgers. They are fairly careful when you mention you have an allergy. I see them change gloves and they make everything on paper.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

They have two GF options for burgers: wrapped in lettuce and it a container. I like it wrapped in lettuce. If you have to have GF bun I'd suggest going somewhere or bringing your own

My mom and I (both celiac) at at this restaurant on our way to and from the UP. Both times the staff was very careful about our allergies, making sure to change gloves and keeping who worked on our food to a limited number to avoid cross contamination. We are both very sensitive and had no issues.

Went here today. Ordered little cheeseburger in lettuce. Told them we have a gluten allergy and they provided a separate bag and used new gloves to prepare the burger.
