Rolled in from Albany NY for dinner. Found this wonderful pizza place. GF first is amazing, lots of toppings, and they have GF fried chicken. Wow!

I’ve eaten here for many years. It is a special treat because it isn’t near me. But definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend. Nice to go to a place and not have to worry about getting sick.
It has since changed owners but all the recipes are the same and still just as safe. Very good.

So many Gfree choices. I had a meatball sub for the first time in 15 years! It did not disappoint. Their hoagies are dense though and large enough for 2-3 meals. The fries were crispy and delicious. I was nervous with so many non Gfree items in the menu but I did not get sick. Note this is a take out only place, no inside seating available, so just order online and pick it up!

As of October 2022 they still weren't set up inside for dine in. The staff were beyond friendly and willing to offer suggestions. We ordered a hot Italian hoagie (gluten free) and the recommended white pizza (gluten free). I appreciate that the order was quick and they take precautions seriously. I wish I could have loved the pizza but it was underwhelming. The hoagie bread was fresh made but overall the hoagie lacked flavor. I wanted to love it, especially since we drove 2 hours to try it but I didn't. The pizza tasted slightly better cold.

I’ve tried a few different sandwiches and all have been delicious! Their gf menu is HUGE! But I would recommend just for the French fries!!

Pizza was absolutely incredible, as were the French fries! I have a dairy intolerance as well, and their allergen-free cheese was delicious. All three of the Celiacs who ate here didn’t get sick either!

Takeout only but HOLY COW! Haven’t had takeout pizza in over a year and this was beyond worth it. Got the chicken bacon ranch pizza with friend chicken and French fries on the pizza. Crust was delicious. Didn’t get glutened except I was nervous because it was so delicious. Front counter staff was so friendly and ensured me multiple times that it was GF. Weren’t offering indoor seating when we went but we took it to go anyways.

My now gluten-free husband found that the family who owned Mandy’s Pizza was very aware about needing to be gluten-free. We’ve tried pizza, sandwiches, and wings from a separate gluten-free menu, and all have been delicious!

Absolute best GF restaurant in the area! Pizza and hoagies are amazing, knowledgeable staff, we just love it! I feel incredibly safe eating from here, and my family loves the non-gf food too. I’m a highly sensitive celiac and have never gotten sick. We order from here about once a week!

Used to love this place. Owner got sick and can't run it anymore and it went from a 10/10 to a 1/10. Food is wrong, cold, takes 3x what they said for delivery times. Every time I order it's a rude person who thinks I'm an inconvenience for checking on the food I ordered 2 hours ago and was told would take 20 minutes. I don’t trust their service anymore, not sure how I trust their GF dedication. Sad that it's been disappointment after disappointment. Happy to pay up for safe GF but I get the price without the service anymore.

I've had appetizers (including fries), pizzas, and sandwiches. I have never been glutened by any of it. Quality of GF food is good, the buns for sandwiches are especially nice (I wish they did more with them, they could totally be used for bruschetta or garlic bread, and they don't sell them separately so doing your own is out), but it's lots of very greasy choices. I am told the non-GF food is mediocre by the people I keep making get our food from there when I feel like it. One thing that's nice is I've been told that all GF orders are treated like allergen orders, as opposed to most restaurants which treat them like diet orders and you have to remember to stress your medical needs.
One thing to note: They don't allow substitutions and are really weird about any requests (difficult to even get stuff on the side), which is fine because they have a large menu so I think everyone can find something, but people with food allergies/sensitivities don't necessarily only have the one or have other food/GI issues, so it can mean a large portion of the GF menu is locked out. I'm not sure why basic substitutions, like tomato instead of bruschetta mix, are not allowed, but I assume they were getting very egregious requests at some point and just went extremely the other way.

Allergy, vegan, gluten free. Seperate space for everything. Owners son has allergys so they are very strict on what and how things are prepared. Great pizza wings subs also homemade desserts.

I can get an amazing gluten free and dairy free pizza delivered to my house. I have absolutely no worries of cross contamination either.

The best GF in Pittsburgh, I eat here weekly. Everything is delicious and the pizza crust is just like I remember real crust when I used to be able to eat it. Subs are huge (I get extra meat), chicken nuggets are big & crunchy... There’s even cookies & brownies for dessert.

I love they they take the time to offer gf safe food! I’ve read a lot about them and find this to be wonderful! They have a traditional menu and then a GF menu. I am the only celiac in the family so I ordered from the GF menu- white pizza and fries- finally fries that I didn’t have to worry about cross contamination!!! Both were served piping hot right away! Both were great and I had to take the leftovers home. It was also byob so we brought our nearby gf brewery beer!!
I’ve eaten here many times- all great food and no issues.
Best gf pizza we have come across. A little pricy but it’s the closest to “normal” pizza we’ve ever had.
The pizza wasn’t very good. The guy at the counter couldn’t answer my gf questions. I was excited to try, but left disappointed.

Warning to protect my fellow celiacs. I ordered their advertised gluten free fish sandwich for lent last week. I somehow got the regular version and got violently ill. When I contacted them they did not respond other than to offer me a free sandwich this week. I'll pass. They do not take proper precautions. This should never happen at a place that claims to be celiac friendly. I will never eat there again. 0 rating
I got a gluten free meatball hoagie. The meatballs were okay, but I thought the bread was very dry. But they do have a big selection for GF & vegetarian, and the staff was super nice.
Yes
Best gluten free pizza in the Pittsburgh area! The crust is actually a homemade crust that isn't paper thin. They actually take precautions and have a real allergen friendly environment. Owner was super friendly as well. Definitely worth the drive. The cheese fries are also amazing! And you get a huge portion of the price. Also be sure to check out Brandon's baked good!

Hoagies and pizza here! Love it! Soooo good!

We got food from Mandy's twice while we were vacationing in Pittsburgh. A very extensive menu... almost too many choices! Prices are reasonable for gluten free. Cheese pizza and Monster Fries were especially good. My husband had the wings and they were HUGE! They were yummy and very cheap! Mandy's clearly "gets" gluten and allergy friendly food. From the PNC Park area, it was only about a 17 or 18 minute drive to Mandy's. Celiac safe and definitely worth checking out!
Yes
Good gluten free pizza with a slightly thicker style crust. Delivers which is a nice plus for those of us who need it.
Extensive gluten free menu and all gluten free breads and pizza crust are made in house. Allergy friendly restaurant. The buffalo chicken pizza had fries on it. Amazing!!!
Mandy's has provided me with delicious, celiac-safe food every time I've gone. Would recommend

Staff was great and the GF Buffalo Fries and wings were outstanding!

We had a gf sausage and pepperoni pizza and a gf Italian hoagie. Both were great. There is a small dining room. We'll be back!
Best meal I had in Pittsburgh. The BBQ chicken pizza came with French fries and was incredible. I didn't get sick and will definitely come back next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

When in the area my husband stops to treat me to Mandy's amazing pizza. Today I had a steak hoagie with oil dressing. WOW was it good. The bun was firm and stayed together through the whole sandwich. LOVED IT. Can't wait to try something else on their GF menu. Don't forget fries for your sandwich from the dedicated fryer. Top off your meal with one of the tasty brownie bites or giant cookies. The prices are affordable.

Owner is super friendly and nice . Went here after being in town for a meeting and I will drive from the south hills for this food. More options than any other place I have been to!

My son loved it. He's a sensitive Celiac and did well. We will be back when we visit PA
I had BBQ chicken and meatball pizzas from here delivered to Auroch's Brewery. I was beyond excited to have pizza out again!! The chicken tenders on the BBQ pizza were delicious and crispy, and the meatballs on the other pizza were outstanding! I will definitely be making a special visit to Mandy's to try some (maybe ALL?) of their other GF items!

Loved Mandy's!!! We were so excited to have safe GF options that we over ordered and sampled everything. We had GF chicken tenders, fries, wings and the GF BBQ pizza topped with chicken tenders and fries. It sounds gross but it was delicious.

It was great to be able to eat out with two small kids with celiac. The owners were great and it was fun. We'll definitely be back when we're in Pittsburgh.

Fabulous food - my girl asked "are you sure it's Gluten free " it's so good . Pizza , salad , and try Brandon's donuts too .

Came down to Pittsburgh for a vacation and I was pleasantly surprised to find so many GF places. Mandy's had a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. I ordered a 4-cut cheese GF pizza and it was the best GF pizza I have had since being diagnosed with Celiac. The pizza did not fall apart, and it was as if I was eating regular pizza. It was so good! Definitely will be back in the future.
