Me and my partner ordered from the gluten free menu. My partner ordered the grilled meat and rice which we later figured out was cooked on the same stove top as the rest. Additionally the soy sauce the waitresses brought to our table had gluten in it.

Went here on a Saturday for lunch. The place wasn't busy maybe less than a quarter full. Was seated at an improperly cleaned table on padded seats that I initially thought were also dirty but actually just had holes in them. Waited for 10 minutes with no water or waiter/waitress in sight while watching two hostesses stand around doing nothing. Left unnoticed.

Some GF items listed on a separate menu, miso soup was good and not overly salty, the sashimi was amazing (came out on a bowl of ice) and they have GF soy sauce! Good food.

Tons of options in the GF menu - miso soup, plenty of maki, rolls and the like along with poke , bowls and even entrees like chicken or salmon teriyaki. Bottles of Tamari available upon request. The server checked to make sure the sushi rice didn’t use malted vinegar in rice for us and said they don’t, so good to go. LA’s high end sushi scene is too close to give a chain 5 stars but for being welcoming and safe this place hits the spot.

I had a great experience. My waiter didn't know much about gluten, but went and talked with the kitchen. The manager came out with a GF/allergen menu and went over everything on the menu with us. She was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and made sure to bring out gluten free soy sauce as well. They are not able to make items like the shrimp and spicy rolls gluten free as its in the sauce/batter, but they were able to adjust a few items that weren't on the menu to accommodate us.

I went there this weekend and had a great experience!! We sat at the bar and the bartender gave us the GF menu when asked. He knew what celiac was and said they were “pretty solid” in the kitchen. I saw him type “gluten allergen” in the computer when he input our order too! I got the nigiri assortment, edamame, sake, and fried rice and it was all great! They have a ton of GF options as well. I definitely recommend it!
