Was under the impression the fries were gluten free but was informed they were not. Just a heads up!!

Got glutened from a vanilla shake here. Online allergen menu said no gluten or wheat but then saw delivery app said contains wheat? Unclear which is true but I’m sick nonetheless
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
This location has a dedicated gluten free fryer for French fries. Staff is knowledgeable about ingredients containing gluten and risks for cross contamination.

Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.
Employees are super busy (not their fault!) and not very knowledgeable about allergies, so don’t expect to be able to ask them a lot of questions. They have gf buns, no dedicated fryer, and the shack sauce has possible cross contamination. My gf burger came out on a regular bun, so be super careful and always double check here!

Ate their GF bun and fries without issue!
Shake Shack has gluten free buns now and they're delicious! Don't listen to these other reviews!
Wait on a super long line for an average burger with no bun? Never again.
Whoop ti do a burger patty with no bun. Fries are not GF.
No
A burger with NO bun- great I can get that anywhere
No
I am about to be in NY chaperoning a school field trip, and I called them to verify gluten information. They were very knowledgeable. They can do all the burgers without the bun, but the shroom burger is covered in bread crumbs, so it cannot be made gluten free. The fries are gluten free, but they are fried in the same fryer as the shroom burger, so there is cross-contamination, so if you are sensitive, AVOID! Their custard items and drinks are gluten free, but some of their mix-in items are not gluten free. They are clearly marked on their allergen chart, though. I give three stars because they were knowledgeable and try to accommodate, but they don't have gf vegetarian options or fries that are safe.
So good!

Gluten allergy stickers were used but didn’t amount to much, girlfriend got glutened and became very unwell on a cross-Atlantic flight. We were told there was a separate fryer for fries but suspect there was not…

I ordered at the kiosk. It wouldn’t read the chips on any of my credit or debit cards. I tried the card that pays by tapping. Still didn’t work. I tried to flag down one of the multiple workers standing around in the back to no avail. I walked out hungry.

Very sensitive to cross contamination and have never had issues here! Wish I could eat the fries (no dedicated fryer) but the burgers are solid.
